B.E. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.6
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
MSU faculty members of technology.
Placements: Almost 60%- 70% of students get placed. The highest salary package is 24 LPA and the average salary package is 6 LPA, top recruiters like Reliance, Hindujaduja, Ami Life Science and many more. About 40%- 50%, mostly offered electrical engineering-related courses overall the placement is good in my course as well as the entire campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so old that give the feel of a palace and feels good and facilities like wife water and other basic facilities are available everywhere on the campus however hostel is not on the campus so this is kind of giving a bit of discomfort, cantine is good but I won't it's food, sport, and games facility are also there like chess basketball, cricket, tennis, football ext apart from that they also have well-managed gymnasium.
Faculty: In Gujarat no other university or college can beat its curriculum it is the best, but faculty memebrs I would say it's okay yes they are qualified Knowledgeable helpful but it's just that I didn't like their teaching style Also it's subjective, and every other university it comes with old curriculum but it's okay, exam will be though so the curriculum.
Other: So this course is about electronics and electrical I found that interesting and also there is the demand of these courses, and coming to fest if you are looking for a college and expecting fest and culture to be like other big teach University then MSU will be the best option for our case we have 2 major fest are held the largest different able fest and other is footprints national level teach fest connectivity is as good, you will get digital Gujarat scholarship for, sc, st and also various scholarships 8 in total available for more you can check MSU website and extracurricular like joining other clubs and community here in msu we have total 7 clubs so if someone want to pursue the passion their interest this can give them a community and a good start, over all we can say that msu fte is the best, they offer so much in just 11000 per year that's amazing.

B.Sc. in Foods and Nutrition (Public Health Nutrition) - Batch of 2023
3.8

I am somewhat satisfied with my bachelor's degree from MSU.
Placements: Maharaja Sayajirao University is well known, but it is the worst when it comes to placements. I got admitted to general B.Sc. program. All students who get admitted to general courses lack internships and placements. They offer placements to those students who are in high-payment courses.
Infrastructure: As the name suggests, my university is widespread and has many different faculty members across various departments, along with good infrastructure. We have Wi-Fi, canteens, a Nescafe canteen, a medical department, hostels, etc. It's not very hygienic, but the taste in all of mess and canteens is good, and it is very affordable.
Faculty: All the professors are highly qualified and, on average, hold PhD. in their respective fields. Some are very helpful and calm, but on the other hand, there are a few who tend to yell rather than help and can be very stubborn. Course is usually not explained in detail, but practical lectures help us understand. This is why the exam papers are easy if we pay attention in class.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2024

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: We do get placement offers but it is as good as doing a job in telecommunication sector. Strength of our class is around 2000 students studying in one semester. Lots of student get internships by the college faculty only, but the rate at which the students get internship is very low.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is great. Infrastructure of the hostel is also very nice, and the hostel fees is very reasonable because it is funded by the government. Hostel has a mess, library, play ground and hall. Hostel also provides free wife to the hostelers.
Faculty: The teachers are really very helpful but due to the large number of students in every class, they are not able to attend students individually. Exams are really painful because you won't be able to find your center first and then it’s very crowded during the exams. Curriculum is not as good as it needs to be.
Other: We have lots of faculty in our University which really helps to boost the environment of our college.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027

Polytechnic, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed with a very decent package, and other students opt for further studies, meaning it has 100% placement. The highest package offered was 6 Lacs, which is good enough for a diploma holder fresher. Top recruiters are Air Products, L & T. The lowest package offered was 2 Lacs. Top roles offered are Mechanical Engineering Head, Lead Engineer, Construction Manager, and many more. If you score 7+ CGPA, you are definitely going to be placed in the companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very beautiful and structured like an old palace. It has separate faculty members and departments, and the campus is enormous. It covers 1/5th of the city. Libraries, sports pavilion, multipurpose halls, canteens, hostels, hospital, stationery, all are on the campus, so you don’t need to go outside. Full of trees, peacocks, and elegant birds around the campus, you will love the environment here.
Faculty: Faculty members here are so humble and supportive towards students (if you cooperate with them), and their teaching style reflects experience and excellence. They give you moral support and motivate students for their best attempt in academics and personal life. The professors teach beyond books and push the students to real-world problems. For every subject, there are 2 faculty members who divide the syllabus between them and easily complete it before exams. No need to study after college hours, you will just need a revision. That is the level of the studies here.
Other: Overall, the campus life is very good, and the university has many club tie-ups with government authorities for the development of students. Event organizing is also good, and fests are organized every week. Many competitions are conducted, and festival celebrations are also enjoyable.

Bachelor of Business Administration - Batch of 2027

It is satisfying because education system of this college is very good.
Placements: From MSU, 50 to 70 percent of students get placed. The highest package for BBA is around 600,000 per annum, the maximum package is around 4 lacs, and the lowest package is 2 to 3 lacs per annum. TCS company has also recruited from our college. From my college, many students get management roles, and the top roles they get are marketing manager, sales manager, sales executive. Some are founders of big businesses in big cities like Vadodara, Surat, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai. 90% of students get internships from my college because it's compulsory to get good marks through the internship. Students may also get internships at companies, which will help them gain new knowledge and real-world experience.
Infrastructure: In our college, many facilities are available, like Wi-Fi, labs, and our classroom just for BBA students. The library gives us a good feeling for studying. In my hostel, many facilities are available, like beds and water supply, good management, and good food. Food is also a crucial part, and I need to say that the food is really good, considering the cost and time. The hostel fee is just 8,000 per annum, so average students can afford this.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable from their perspective, and some of them are not able to teach us. Overall, the quality of study is very good. Yes, of course, our course is valuable for everyone because business studies are very helpful in the future because, at this time, management is a very good position. Yes, the semester exam is 72% difficult, and our passing ratio is also 80%.
Other: I want to share my experience about this college. This college will help you give your full strength to the market, get further knowledge, and also help you get current knowledge. I wish that they would develop good programs about the current market so students can do their best in the present, not the past. Some students are trying to study about the future, but they are taught about the past, so they are not able to study any other subject. They give students a chance to become real marketing officers. The most disappointing part is that our events and campus connectivity for each student are very good, but the scholarship amount is very low; any person who is poor cannot afford it. Our events are really great.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2020

MSU Baroda is a prestigious university.
Placements: I've completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the 2020-2023 batch. We had two divisions, each with 60 students. I don't know the exact number of students who were placed, but top recruiters like Reliance, Tata, Adani, Hitachi, L&T Hydrocarbon, Essar, and Air Products offered quite good packages. Air Products offered the highest package in our batch, at 5 lakhs per annum. The role was specific to that company. However, only one student got placed, and the application for that position was around number 60 to 65, so it was highly competitive.
Infrastructure: I was a local student at that time, so I don't know the exact scenario, but our batchmates told us that the facilities and infrastructure were not up to the mark. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen was poor. So, they preferred to eat at nearby Swaminarayan Bhojnalaya, or sometimes they ordered food online.
Faculty: I would rate the teaching and curriculum 6.5/10. The teachers were really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams in the college are really difficult to pass. The pass percentage varies between 35 to 40 percentage. If you get more than 2 backlogs in a semester, you will be detained from the University for 1 year.
