Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the NUAT- NIIT University Aptitude Test. Candidate who have appeared for JEE Main/ Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT)/ SAT/ Any State Engineering Entrance Examination are exempted from giving university entrance test.
Personal Counseling Interaction
Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal counseling interaction based on the rank obtained in JEE Main/ Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT)/ SAT/ Any State Engineering Entrance Examination/ NUAT- NIIT University Aptitude Test. Personal Counseling Interaction is a unique counseling process conducted by NU for the applicants shortlisted for admission which includes interaction between the applicants and their parents/ guardians with designated officials from NU. Eligible applicants undergo the PCI either face-to-face or through video conferencing on the day and time selected by them after completing a written questionnaire. The following will be assessed during the PCI to decide admissions: English communication skills – written & verbal, Interest & hobbies, Degree of self-awareness, Out-of-the-box thinking, Reason for the choice of stream
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on 10+2 marks, JEE Main/ Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT)/ SAT/ Any State Engineering Entrance Examination/ NUAT- NIIT University Aptitude Test rank and performance in personal counseling interaction.
