Placements: This year placement is better than last years. In NIT Off campus placement are more than On campus. The biggest factor is the Transportation problem. In transportation only buses and personal vehicle are available. There is no train and air way facility available. Yet in the nearest city (UNA) train facility is available. Placements: According to the current scenario, the placements are not up to the mark as they should be. Actually the location is the major issue related with the placements, companies don't prefer to travel that much for recruitment over there. Majority of students have to take placement in software companies because core companies don't come in the sufficient number. Placements: Placement is good. More than 10 mncs visit every year for cumpus placement. We have our own training and placement cell with very good officer and staff. Every year more than 90% students got placed through campus placements and average package is also good ranging from 5-6 Lacs. College also promote pool placement offers from companies on other colleges.

Placements: Placements are good. Nowadays placement cell is doing a good job. The highest package last year was around 75Lacs. Mostly CS packages are higher than core branches. I was in civil department and our batch placement was almost 75% and it is almost the same for other core branches also.

Placements: The placement programme over here is satisfactory but could definitely be made better. Since it lies in Himachal and travelling here is tough, a few companies will take bulk of students for the same kind of job no matter the branch (somewhat related) and provide them training for a satisfactory salary. Nevertheless, there are new companies every year and nearly everyone gets placed.

Placements: NIT Hamirpur (HP), being an institute of national importance and having a good reputation, has a quite high placement rate considering the statistics in the year 2017 for branch/placement percentage. ECE has 98.46% placement out of 64 students that appeared for placements with an average salary of 5.18 LPA. CSE has 94.49% placements out of 73 students that appeared with an average salary of Rs. 6.41 LPA. EEE has 74.28% placement out of the 70 students that appeared for placements with an average...

Placements: CSE dual yet to be placed. But the placement of CSE is fairly well. This time the highest package is 75 Lacs (off campus). Companies like Amazon, Drishti, Adobe do come here for placements. Average package is around 6 Lacs. Internship is applied outside college by your own consent. Overall placement is good.

Placements: Placements were good and most of the students will get placed. About 80% of students got placements in good companies like ITC, Honda, Maruti, SAP, Sapient, L&T. The highest package was 15lpa and average was 6lpa. Internship in third year have to be applied by students themselves.

Placements: Placements are very good in CS ECE sector. As far as core branches are concerned, placements vary between 60-70 percent. Sometimes, you can score PSU in core branches also depending upon your luck. In our batch, CS students were on the top of placements followed by ECE, ME, EE, CE. Placement condition of civil branch is not so good. But you can go for higher studies in this sector because of broad discipline.

Placements: Placements for Computer Science & Engineering reach fairly around 85-90% placement rate. Almost 40-50% students tend to have double placement offers depending upon the number of companies visiting in that particular year and placement strategy adopted to get maximum placement rate. Lower Packages = 4-6 lacs Average packages = 6-9 lacs Higher packages = 10-15 lacs (in some cases even more).

Placements: All average and above students were placed in our batch. Around 80% of students. The highest package in mechanical goes till 9-10 LPA max. Because PSU Companies have stopped coming, the mechanical page goes only till 9-10 LPA. Computer Science placements were great at that time. The average placements in computer Science were the best.

Placements: Quality of placements in NITH has been upgraded recently a lot. From the past years the students from our college are not only getting placed in the on campus arrived companies but also the off campus Multinational Companies. In NITH, generally the complete CSE and ECE branch people gets placed and more than 90% students gets placed from other branches as well. Placements: The placements are really good. Almost everyone in our college gets placed. The percentage of placed students remains 80+ recent every year. Recently a British Company visited our College in which a student named Shikhar Srivastava got placed for 75 Lacs per annum. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Jio, Samsung visit our campus almost every year and takes students from our college.

Placements: Placement are 80%. 98% people were placed. The highest package is 21 Lacs. And the lowest is 6 Lacs. Ongc, Bhel, Bpl, Samsung, Amazon, Flipkart etc. Job roles mostly were offered and some students were also offered research programs. 80% got internship. The highest got 1 Lacs and minimum stipend is 50 thousands. Yes we have our own placement cell. It was very efficient and effective for the welfare of students.

Placements: Placements are good. But due to location many companies don't come. Tpo doing the great work for students. If your pointer is above 7 then you will get definitely placement. Some branches get lower placement. IT branch gets high number of jobs. And bigger package.

Placements: The current scenario of placements in NIT HAMIRPUR is not as good as you will find in other top most nits. Because the college location is not found that much accessible to the companies as others. But still many companies visit our college on a regular basis. Most of the companies visiting us are software firms than electronic, civil or mechanical firms. So it is a bit difficult to get placed in you dream company here.

Material Science engineering is a new branch, so might see about the placements of this branch in the upcoming years. The highest package ever received by a NITH student is Rs.75 LPA (off-campus), whereas an average package is Rs.6 LPA.
