The college environment is very good.

Placements: Well, as a civil engineering placement is concerned, it's not very good in the college. Most of the students (around 30) are placed in L&T, and the others study for GATE or other examinations. Many business analyst companies visit the campus, and if anyone is interested, they can join them. Overall, most of the students either prepare for GATE or drop. L&T offered a package of around Rs. 35,000 per month at the beginning with a 2-year bond. NIT Hamirpur has a placement cell.

Satisfied college. If you want to do great, then situation and facilities do not interrupt the path.

Placements: The placements are good enough for students in NIT Hamirpur. But, it requires more than a NITian to get good placement. You should be curious about learning things in the whole period of your B.Tech. Also, Your CGPA should be above 8 (require only to shortlist the students for different companies during placement procedure) which indicates your academic performance. Good CGPA can increase your chances to get a placement but not guarantee your placement.

It has good infrastructure, faculty and facilities.

Placements: The placements are neither good nor bad especially for mechanical and civil. Because most of the companies come here are for coding, or you can say computer based. If you are not good at coding, then make yourself best in that, but there is also a provision of off-campus placements.

The best time of my life so far.

Placements: The placement season lasts the entire duration of the final year, with some students even getting a pre-placement offer, which is basically, the company offering employment before the official kick-off of the placement season. The training and placement officer, along with his team of placement representatives from each department help get the maximum placements for the students. Consequently, about 97% of the eligible students get placements directly from college, the remaining few either start...

A review on NIT Hamirpur placements, infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Our placements haven't started yet. But, from the placements of our senior batches, I can say that NIT Hamirpur has a good placement record. The average package offered is 6 Lacs per annum. Recently, a student from our senior batch, Shikhar Srivastava, got a package of 75 Lacs from a British company. So, the overall placement record is good.

A review on National institute of technology, Hamirpur.

Placements: The placements in Nith are good, this year, we got a higher package of about 75 lacs p.a in the computer science engineering, and many more companies come for placements for various engineering branches. For chemical engineering and various branches, many more companies started to visit the campus from last 2 years, and students are getting placed with good packages.

Excellent infrastructure. The campus is beautiful. Below average placements and average activities.

Placements: The placements are not much but had the balanced placement. Few companies came and gave a package for few students. In brief, the campus placements are very disappointed, but few students and faculty put efforts to increase the placements. So, that placement ratio is increased. They organised a group that helps to increase communication of students that will help at placement time.

NIT Hamirpur, a place with a lot of potential but bounded by circumstances.

Placements: The placements are quite good. The tag of NIT really works. Though the average package is not that high when compared with other premium institutes, we are satisfied. The major problem regarding placements is the location of the institute. The college has poor connectivity via air or rail thus some companies don't prefer to visit the institute, but still, a good number of companies visit the institute like Samsung, Amazon, Adobe and many other big names. For internships, you yourself need to do ...

Good placement in 2017. Really good infrastructure & facilities. Overall, the experience was great.

Placements: As of now, I see students of other colleges, and I can definitely say that we have great placement opportunities. Many MNCs visited our campus like Maruti Suzuki, Godrej, Saint Gobain, Capgemini, Hero Group, Honda R&D, Ashoka Leyland, PSUs (BPCL, HPCL) & many other. Believe me, the list is bigger and they offered decent packages. So, don't worry about placement. The highest package given by Adobe in CSE branch was 34 lacs per annum. The lowest was around 3.4 lacs per annum. The average package w...

A final year perception of NITH.

Placements: The placement policy here ensures that every student gets a fair chance until he/she gets placed. Proper efforts are kept by the T&P cell. There is a well-dedicated team of TPRs for all branches who constantly work for the placements. The placement index is increasing every year, and the average package for CSE is 8 lacs per annum. Other branches are also doing quite well.

One of the most beautiful colleges in India.

Placements: On an average, a student will be paid 5.5 LPA annually. The highest package changes from a minimum of 4 LPA to 17 LPA. Almost every student of the 4th year will be placed in one or the other way. Some may be placed in mass placements. Nearly 30 companies approach NIT Hamirpur.

The best engineering institute to enhance your knowledge.

Placements: NITH is well-known engineering institute with good placements from the last decades. If I talk about this year 2017, the highest package offered was 75 LPA for the computer science, and three were placed in mechanical engineering for 35 LPA. In the chemical 6 were placed in Reliance petrochemical limited and one in Indian oil, Two were placed in Hindustan zinc limited. So, there are good placements in the college and no need to worry.

We have a beautiful campus and an okayish faculty.

Placements: The placements at NIT-Hamirpur are looked over by the training and placement cell with the help of elected TPR's or training and placement representatives. Most of the students of my college, irrespective of the branch, get the jobs in IT companies and lots of them visit the campus for recruitment. Usually, we have Samsung, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Adobe, United Health Group, L&T, Jio, etc., visiting the campus. In total, around 40 to 50 Companies visit NITH during the placement period. Satisfied with what college had offered.

Placements: The placements are really good. ECE had the highest number of mass recruitment in the leaving batch in this year, but the highest amount of packages went to computer science with one guy getting an off-campus placement of nearly seventy-five lacs per annum which has now pushed many students to pursue their interests in engineering.

Satisfactory placement and infrastructure. The college beauty is mesmerising.

Placements: The placement record of NIT Hamirpur is good with almost 100% placements in branches like CSE, ECE and EEE. As far as the civil engineering branch is concerned, almost 60% of the batch is placed this year. This is usually the case in almost every year. A few core companies such as L&T visit the campus every year and takes around 40 students with a package of around 5.5 LPA. Not only the core companies but also all the management companies allow the students from the civil discipline to sit in th...

Placements: The placement scenario of the computer science and electronics engineering is awesome. Many students land up with more than one job at the end of the year. Mechanical and electrical engineering placements are also good as 75-80% of the class gets placed at the end. Good companies visit for the chemical engineering branch, and more than 50% class gets placed in the core companies. Overall the placement record in my batch was 80%. NIT Hamirpur - A great learning place within mountains

Placements: Placements were good. All the students were placed. The average CTC for core branches was around 5 lacs. Roles were offered in multiple domains such as analytics, data science, front-end web developer, etc. For internships, students have to find them on their own. Some selected students get an internship from the college.

Placements: The placements are a little bit good, not too much higher, but it was medium. Almost 75% were placed in some national and international companies. The highest package of CSE 75 Lacs. The lowest one is around 3 Lacs from the chemical branch. MNCs like Wipro, SAP Labs, HSBC, ONGC, UTC, and UHG. Talented students got qualified after attending several interviews and GDs. Placements: The placements are good. Around 100 companies have visited the campus. 70% of the students got the placement. The highest salary offered is Rs. 14 LPA + Rs. 3 lakhs bonus in HSBC. The average salary offered is Rs. 4 LPA. All the mass recruiters such as Samsung, Oracle, Sapient, Playbuff, Maruti, Belzabar, SAP labs, Paytm, etc., have visited the campus.
