NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: A total 108 students were placed out of 125 students enrolled last year, i.e., 2023. The highest package is 18 lakhs per year, and 8 lakhs is the average package. Top companies are Orient, Havells, etc. The top role offered in my course is as assistant engineer as a fresher.

Placements: The placement rate is quite good in all branches. The highest package for our branch last year was 18 LPA, and the median salary was about 7-8 LPA. Internship opportunities are also good; every branch offers valuable internships to students, allowing them to gain training and earn a good stipend.

Placements: The placement are decent of this college. The average package of this college for all branch is about 11 to 12 LPA which is quite good. Branch wise computer science has highest average package of about 15 to 16 LPA. Mtech placement are also good for top branches.

Placements: Placement statistics at NIT Hamirpur are impressive, with 78% of students who appeared in placements getting placed. Top recruiters from both the technology and core industries come to the campus every year to hire students. Students were placed in almost every field they wanted to go into, and many students even received multi-crore packages. The highest package offered was 1.73 crores.

Placements: Placement percentage is around 85%. The highest package is around 55 LPA in CSE and 18 LPA in electrical, and the average is 8 LPA. Almost all major companies except Google and Microsoft visit here. Internships are available on campus for tech companies, but for core, you have to find them yourself off campus.

Placements: It is encouraging to observe the arrival of reputable organizations such as Google and Wipro, as they actively recruit students from our esteemed institution. Furthermore, the robust alumni network plays a pivotal role in securing internships and placements for a significant number of our students.

Placements: 79.28% of the students were placed in CS department. The highest package offered was 1.73 crores. Median salary offered was 8.25 Lakh. Infosys and Samsung are the top recruiters of NIT, Hamirpur. Internships are quite good here. Top roles offered are that of HR, Manager, Software developer and many others.

Placements: So I am in the mechanical department. I can tell you that NIT Hamirpur provides a great experience and excellent placements. In recent years, 80 percent of students have been placed with good packages. The top recruiting companies are Mercari, Adobe, and Juspay. The highest package is 28 LPA, and the average is around 8 LPA.

Placements: Around 76 students are in my batch. The highest package for chemical engineering last year (2023) was 52 lakh, while the lowest is not specified. The top recruiter was HUL (Hindustan Unilever), and a total of 100% of students got placed last year, with an average package of around 10 lakh.

Placements: Many students are placed from NIT Hamirpur; around 80% of students in mechanical engineering are placed. The highest package for mechanical engineering is 28 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average is 7.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Godrej, Maruti Suzuki, Ashok Leyland, etc. About 98% of students got internships, and the top roles offered are managing engineer and automobile engineer.

Placements: Placements are good; you can get high packages in tech, IT, or in the core sector too. Many companies come to college during the placement season, and the placements cell is highly active. The highest packages are in the IT sector; the rest are average. Companies like Samsung and Microsoft are regular visitors here.

Placements: Placements are pretty good. The highest package was 1.2 crore per annum. Many reputed companies often come for placement and internship programs. Good placements occur for good students, obviously. But aside from placements, you do gain pretty nice knowledge.

Placements: Placements in the Mathematics and Computing Department are decently good. This year, while placements are still ongoing, the highest package so far is 28 LPA, the median package is 12.2 LPA, the average package is 14 LPA, and the minimum package is 7 LPA. These records may change as placements progress.

Placements: 81% of students in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch are placed. The lowest package offered was 4 LPA, while the highest was an impressive 1.7 Cr PA. Companies like Intel, Microsoft, Google, and Infosys are among the top recruiters. All students secure internships, with both internal and external internship offers available for application.

Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. L&T is the top recruiting company in this college. Around 5-7 students got internships in the IT sector. Top roles offered are junior engineer and assistant engineer. Some students opted for IT sector jobs.

Placements: 72% of students in the civil engineering branch at NIT Hamirpur (my college) secure placements. The highest package is ₹9 lakh per annum, and the average package is ₹7 lakh per annum. A lot of students get internships from various companies around the country, and many opt for higher studies from various colleges.

Placements: Civil is a very prestigious branch at NITH. It saw a 70% placement rate, with an average package around 9 LPA and the highest around 15 LPA. Top companies that come for placements include NHAI, Ambuja Cement, Eicher, and many more. Internships begin in the third year, and the final year is utilized for placements.

Placements: 60% of students were placed, even in EP, and many senior students are pursuing higher education in IITs, other NITs, and even in foreign universities. The department of physics is very good, with motivating teachers who are easy to talk to, and seniors who are inspirational.

Placements: The placement are on an average of 10 to 11 LPA, including all branch wise. At top, in terms of placement is CSE, after that is ECE, electrical, mechanical and then chemical. One more thing placement depends on you, how you improve yourself here.

Placements: 87% of students nearly are placed in this course. The highest package offered was 52LPA whereas average stands at 12LPA. Top recruiters are Ashok Leyland, Bloomberg, IBM, Godrej, CapGemini etc. I don't know about internships but Material Science students can apply at internship in ISRO. Top job offered is of Material Scientist.
