Precisely, this was one of the best technical institutes in India. It had the best faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are up to the level. The placement percentage of our senior batch was better than our batch. The main problem of our college is that it is in Arunachal Pradesh. To visit AP, one needs to have ILP (inner line permit), and because of this reason, most of the companies don't visit our college to offer placements.

We can have fun in hostels. Studies depend on you, and the infrastructure is average.

Placements: There were no placements till 2014, and the placement rate has improved from 2015, but the placement cell is still far from decent. PSUs are visiting the campus, but they are not hiring more than 4 students. There is a huge room for improvement. Skill improvement sessions should be included in the course to improve the placement rate.

Dissatisfied with placements in 2017, but the faculty and course curriculum were very good.

Placements: Placements were not much good for our course in 2017, but the placements are quite good for mechanical and civil branches. For CS, companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, SAP, etc., have visited our campus and offered the roles of analyst, software developer, and tester etc. There are some schemes for internships. The stipend offered to me was Rs. 8,000 per month during my internship.

I'm not satisfied because of placements.

Placements: A few years back, placements were good for the students of electronics and computer science departments in B.Tech programme but not for M.Tech students. Although we had good percentages, placements are too bad now. I did not see any M.Tech student get placed here. Earlier Wipro visited our campus, but now from 2 years, even they are not visiting our campus. The salary package offered is 3 to 6 LPA. Only 5% of students were offered internships from college. There is a placement cell, but I do not...

I was satisfied with the course curriculum and faculty but not much satisfied with placements.

Placements: Placements for our batch and our senior batch were moderate. Around 30% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Companies like SAP, Wipro, Zaloni and Tata Zen have visited our campus. Almost 100% of the students were offered internships in different organisations. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 12,000 per month, and it was offered by IIT, Mumbai. There is a well-formed placement cell on our campus.

An old and forgotten institution. The placements and infrastructure are good.

Placements: In the placements for our batch, a total of 7 students were placed in PSUs like OIL, PGCIL, etc. One student got placed in Vedanta, and other 20 students got placed in private core companies. Regarding ratio, 1 out of 6 students was placed, and there are a total of 150 students. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.50 LPA. In the previous year, about 11 students got placed in PSUs. Almost 6-8 students got placed in other private core sectors, and...

Placements: The quality of placements is increasing every year. Many students are getting placed in big and small companies. Companies visiting our campus for recruitment are increasing. The T&P cell is improving its quality and functionality.

A central government college for middle-class students.

Placements: Placements in the college are quite decent. There are no 100% placements, but as a rough estimate, around 40% to 50% of students get placed. Maximum of the students go for higher studies. There were companies like Vedanta, Cummins, OIL, Ethnos, Powergrid, Asahi and many more in the previous year's placements.

Review of North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Placements provided for the students of mechanical and electrical departments were good. IOCL and Power Grid, and the rest of the companies from IT-sector visited our college for recruitment. Our college needs to work more on the T&P cell. Priority has to be given to the permanent T&P officer, and the connectivity with the capital is poor, so it affects the placements.

Great campus life that provides memories that last lifetime. If you work hard, it will pay out well.

Placements: Placements in the college were below average. A small fraction of the college gets placed, and more than half of the batch is unplaced. Most of the students opt for M.Tech or manual job search. But that does not mean students don't get placed. The college has placed its students in leading companies like SAP, Indian Oil, Power Grid and many other leading corporations around the country.

NERIST provides everything on a consistent basis.

Placements: Placements are conducted through the college administrative body. T&P cell of NERIST along with student coordinators invites the companies to our college for placements. Companies which are invited to our college have their basic academic criteria as the first round selection is the elimination round. After that, they either conduct the interview directly or short-list on the basis of aptitude test. Companies like TCS and Cummins conducts pool campusing where they invite applications and on the ...

NERIST is the best college.

Placements: For placements, I would rate 8 out of 10. Many companies visit the campus like Power Grid, Oil India, and software companies regularly recruit the students of mechanical, electrical, civil, etc. Placement percentage is good, i.e., 50 to 60%.

As compared to other colleges, NERIST is awesome.

Placements: The placements on the campus are average, and it is increasing day by day. Recently, a few companies visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package was around 13 LPA to 14 LPA. The average salary package was 3.5 LPA. Institute provides training in the final and pre-final year students. The companies such as Indian Oil, Tech Mahindra, Dalmia Cement, etc., visit our campus for placements.

Pride of North East is NERIST.

Placements: Placement of last year was not well. Some of student are placed by IT company like tcs, Wipro and IOCL which visit every year to select few candidate. Overall placement is not good. Only few numbers of students get placed I. e 5% and the highest package was 11 Lacs.

The college has an average placement, and good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement in this branch are a few, but some branches have placement in a good number. Due to the absence of the permanent director, all these are happening, but we hope that our college will be great someday. The placement is not enough just like IIT Guwahati they all get 100% placement guarantee. We have not guaranteed like that, and I think the college is not good at giving the placement, so the student has to find their own job before passing or after passing. Some companies which come h...

It is significantly poor kind of institute being a central institute.

Placements: No significant placement is seen being a central institute. A great effort is yet to be given by the institute in this regard. Being a central institution, some reputed enterprises should be invited for the placement. Though the institute is located in an isolated place, yet the government and institute should move their steps forward.

Pretty good college for engineering, especially for the northeastern region students.

Placements: The placement of our senior batch is pretty good, but it should be better than that. Actually, due to the location of our college in the backward area, the placement is quite challenging. The highest salary paid is above LPA. Some companies that visited the college are the power grid, Dalmia, TechMahindra, Indian oil, and many other IT companies.

Placements: The placements are good. Many companies such as HP, Infosys, TATA, Adobe comes to college. However, only some get selected, but they offer a well deserving salary. They offer up to 16 lacs salary. Up to 30% - 40% students get the placements from this companies. The roles like consultants, certain department manager, are given.

It is a good engineering college improving at its phase, that needs few improvements and innovations.

Placements: The placement programme is actually showing progress at our Institute. Last year, a couple of companies visited the campus, of which the most notable ones being the NEEPCO (Papum Pare) and some oil companies from the Assam. Few of our seniors have also got placement in the NEEPCO. The oil companies have chosen some of the seniors. The highest salary was close to six figures with additional company incentives. But the percentage of students placed was not appreciated. In the coming years, we hope...

Placements: The placements for my senior batch were not quite good. Maybe, around 30 percent students were placed. The highest salary offered by the companies was Rs. 1.2 lakhs and the lowest salary that has been offered was Rs. 20,000, while the average salary offered by the companies was Rs. 60,000.
