Placements: The placement programme is actually showing progress at our Institute. Last year, a couple of companies visited the campus, of which the most notable ones being the NEEPCO (Papum Pare) and some oil companies from the Assam. Few of our seniors have also got placement in the NEEPCO. The oil companies have chosen some of the seniors. The highest salary was close to six figures with additional company incentives. But the percentage of students placed was not appreciated. In the coming years, we hope...
Placements: The placements for my senior batch were not quite good. Maybe, around 30 percent students were placed. The highest salary offered by the companies was Rs. 1.2 lakhs and the lowest salary that has been offered was Rs. 20,000, while the average salary offered by the companies was Rs. 60,000. Mainly, the companies like Indian Oil, Dalmia Cement and some private companies have visited the college. The roles which have been offered to the students were the junior engineer or the executive engineer. I...
Placements: In the current final batch of UG and PG, approximately 60% of students are placed, with the top recruiters being big tech companies, management firms, and consulting firms. The highest package in my department was 72 LPA in the year 2023, with the lowest being 4.5 LPA and an average package of 7 LPA.
Placements: Placements are pretty much average. Few companies like Oil India, Wipro, Power Grid, Tech Mahindra have visited the campus. The placements are average mainly because of the location. Also on recruitment the salaries have varied from 3 Lacs to 11 Lacs.
Placements: Placements in our college are average for electronics & communication engineering branch but can be better. As the institute is located somehow far from mainland India so communication problem is a big issue that can attract companies in a lesser amount. As for other branches like civil, placements are very less as compared.
