- PU DAT Application 2025 has started. The last date to apply for the same is Jan 15, 2025. Moreover, the exam will be conducted on Jan 26, 2025.
- NEET UG counselling 2024 Round 3 seat allotment result for admission to the MBBS/BDS/BSc (Nursing) courses has been released. Candidates can log in and check their results by visiting the official website. The reporting of selected candidates at the allocated colleges is scheduled from Oct 14 to Oct 19, 2024.
- The NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 1 registration for admission to the MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses is ongoing. The complete NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule is yet to be released.
- The CUET UG Counselling process 2024 for admission to the UG courses is ongoing separately by the participating colleges.

College is good but slightly bad for placement as the student ratio is too much.
Placements: 10% students got placed from the engineering department. The highest package was 30 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA, with the average being 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, L&T, Wipro. There are few chances to get placement because there are too many students on campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every department. Library is also available in every department. Faculty members are good, and they are friendly in nature. Hostels are also available for students inside the campus, and messes are available for food. Sports are available like cricket, football, and also indoor games.
Faculty: Yes, many teachers are from NIT and IITs. They have good knowledge and experience. We have two exams in one semester: mid-sem and end-sem. After that, the overall score is calculated and the report is given on the website for students. Every class has a minimum of 70-80 students.
Other: I was interested in engineering, which was the reason for taking admission. Events are organized on every festival. Tech expos are organized for students.

All about Parul University.
Placements: In our department, only one batch is senior to us, and they have been placed right now. The highest packages range from 15 to 18 Lacs rupees per annum, and the average package lasted at 7 to 8 lacs. Many of them got packages for 5 to 6 lacs per annum also.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department and the labs is quite decent, though there are not an appropriate amount of equipment for the number of students present. But still, the facilities are pretty good, and the hostel facilities and the infrastructure are also pretty decent.
Faculty: The teachers of the department are well-qualified from renowned institutions of India, and the curriculum is very relevant. We also have industrial visits that make us industry-ready. The semester exams are not that difficult; they are at a moderate level.

The college where students learn about living.
Placements: Nearly 60 to 70 percent students get placed every year in good and medium companies. As for me, the highest package offered is 36 LPA and the average goes around 7 LPA. Top companies are Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Almost all the students gets the opportunity to do internships in good companies.
Infrastructure: The college provides a good infrastructure along with Wi-Fi, labs, big classrooms with good ventilation and also a good college environment. Coming to the hostels, the accommodation is very good in PU, but the food that they serve is limited and also is tasty enough for the other state students. Especially the students that come from South Indian states need to consider the food as a major factor while joining.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified enough to take classes but most of the teachers only have theoretical knowledge and not much of practical knowledge. The course curriculum is based on theory mostly with a very limited practical knowledge. The semester exams are medium hard to write but those who attend the classes can easily pass the exams. The passing percentage is 50 percent marks in total.
Other: I chose this course because it is leading in technology nowadays, so I decided to do this course to get more chances at jobs.

Placements: At Parul University, the placement percentage is high, often 80-90%, with the highest package of INR 30-45 LPA and the average package of INR 7-10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, HCL, and smaller cybersecurity firms. The university offers many internships to students from their courses. The top roles offered are Cybersecurity Analyst, SOC Analyst, Ethical Hacker, and Penetration Tester.
Infrastructure: Parul University has modern classrooms with projectors, smart boards, and high-speed internet. Wi-Fi connectivity is available across the campus, with dedicated cybersecurity labs for hands-on learning. The hostel has facilities like Wi-Fi, a mess, 24/7 security, and many more. Food quality may vary. According to me, the food is moderate, and the menu should be improved. On-campus medical facilities are available for students.
Faculty: Some students raised the faculty's knowledge and teaching methods, while others have expressed concerns about the teaching quality. Almost every faculty is supportive and shows helpfulness. The cybersecurity course at Parul University includes subjects like Network Security and Cryptography, which are relevant to industry demands. Semester exams are easy to moderate. The pass percentage is generally high depending on the specific course and faculty.
Other: I chose this because of my interest and the growing demands in the industry. The placement opportunities and hands-on experience, guest lectures, and cybersecurity workshops are the best things about my course. Industry interaction can be improved. Parul University hosts various events throughout the year, and the campus crowd is diverse, with students from all over the world. Scholarships are offered based on the 12th result. They have extracurricular activities like sports, clubs, and many more.

Review of Parul University.
Placements: Nearly 70% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies for my course are Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered is around 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities at the university are quite good. University provides Wi-Fi for every hostel room. Labs are well-maintained and air-conditioned. Classrooms are also good. The quality of food is not as good compared to food available outside. University has medical facilities and a hospital on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful for the students to approach them for the development in studies. Semester exams are of a moderate level, which is not too hard. Pass percentage is 70% among all students.
Other: I chose this course for my career development, which will be very helpful for my future. The best thing about the course is the opportunity to develop ourselves by creating code and applications. Events and fests are more common at the university, held every 2 months, whether small or big. Campus surroundings are very good.
