Candidates need to pass MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE, etc. for getting admission to PES University MBA. PESSAT or People's Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test is conducted by PES University in online mode. It is a three hours test conducted for shortlisting candidates for MBA admission. The question paper incorporate questions of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. There are four different sections wherein Physics and Mathematics sections will encompass 60 questions each and Chemistry and English section will comprise of 40 and 20 questions respectively.

Eligibility: Candidates must complete a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate to register for MBA admission. Eligible aspirants can apply with an application fee of INR 1,200 for MBA.

Entrance exam: Aspirants need to qualify CAT, MAT, CMAT, PGCET or any other Management entrance exam. Candidates who have not qualified for any of these, can apply for PESSAT conducted by the university. The selected candidates are then called for GDPI round.

Counselling: Once the selection rounds are over, candidates can book their seat by paying the course fee.

Step: 1 Visit the official website of PESSAT and click on the ‘Admission’ tab.

Step 2: Choose the course in which you wish to seek admission.

Step 3: Fill in your details like your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID in the appeared registration form and hit the 'Submit' button.

Step 4: Make a payment of INR 1,200 as an application fee. Once the fee payment is done, enter the transaction number and tap 'proceed to Fill Application' link to complete the application process.

Step 5: Proceed with application form and upload the scanned images of your recent passport-size photograph, thumb impression and other necessary enclosures in JPG/ JPEG format.

Step 6: Verify all your filled details and hit 'Submit' to conclude the application process.

The total tuition fee for PES University MBA is INR 14 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The course fee is the amount that students need to pay to confirm their seat after selection rounds. Besides, there is a registration fee that aspirants need to pay in the start. The application fee is INR 1,200 for MBA course. Candidates can pay the fee via any of the online payment modes.

PES University CAT Cutoff 2024 is yet to be released. The Cutoff will soon be released after the CAT results are out. Last year, the CAT percentile required for MBA admission was 50, for the General All India category candidates. The percentile requirement has remained constant for the past 3 years. PES University also accepts Karnataka PGCET rank for MBA admission. In 2023, the required PGCET rank for PES University was 575.

The official placement statistics have not been released yet by PES University. However, the NIRF report 2023 has been released for Management departments. As per the report,  271 MBA students were placed during 2022 placements. The median package offered to MBA students during PES University placements 2022 was INR 5.50 LPA. The total seat intake for PES University MBA course is 480. Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility requirements and qualify Management entrance exams like CAT, CMAT, MAT, etc. for getting admission. The selected candidates are further required to come for group discussion and personal interview round. MBA course at PES University consists of a core curriculum, an internship and elective courses over a time period spanning across two years. Across the two year course spread across six trimesters, core courses are offered in I, II & III trimesters and specialisation courses in IV, V & VI trimesters.
