Review of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

Placements: There are no placements for the civil engineering department, so you have to work hard on your own to get placed and learn new skills. In our course, none of the students got campus placements. The highest salary package offered was 5.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered can go up to 1.2 LPA.

I am satisfied because of experienced and qualified faculty members and good placements.

Placements: Around 50%-60% of the students from our batch were placed. Approximately 50% of the students were placed in core companies. The highest salary package offered here is around 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 5.5 LPA. Top companies which recruit students from here are ExxonMobil, L&T, Systra, EXL, etc. Most of the students got internships through their internal links. Very less companies hired students for internships. Top roles...

I am satisfied with the placements and the director named Sanghi sir.

Placements: The average salary package offered for circuit branches is above 8 LPA, while for non-circuit branches, it is around 6 LPA. For CSE, the average salary package offered is around 10 LPA. Placements are great here, and it is one of the best and oldest colleges in North India. Clubs available here also prepare you for interviews and teach you relevant skills.

Placements, infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in non-core companies. Many students from our college got internships in JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs. There are lots of opportunities to explore yourself. Many other companies come to college. Overall, the placement scenario is good. It has a wide alumni network as well, and it is very helpful.

Placements and college life are great, but the infrastructure is average.

Overall I am satisfied from my college. The environment of the college is good.

Placements: I think about 30% of the students get placement in our branch with the highest package of about 18 Lacs and an average package of 8 Lacs. Companies like microsoft, maruti, honda, jp margan etc. Recruit students from our course. But a very small percentage of about 10% get interned from our branch.

I am satisfied with the placements rate and good academics.

Placements: The college provides an internship in core electrical companies. Very few core electrical companies visit our campus. Students from the electrical branch can easily get an internship in software as well as in finance companies as they come in a huge number. About 40-50% of the students from our course got an internship.

Placements: Placements for our batch were good. Some companies offer placements to electronics branch students in core electronics profiles while most of them were offered roles of data analytics. Students of our branch were also eligible in most of the IT companies, thereby increasing the scope of getting placed.

The college environment is pleasing, but in terms of education, it seems to be little deprecated.

Placements: Placements for our batch was okay. It was not that good as with the senior batch as more companies arrived for the senior batch. Still, 90% of placements are there for the circuital branches, but for the rest, it is 50-60%. The best company visited our campus was Microsoft. Companies like Jp Morgan, De Shaw and various other finance Tech companies offered placements, but most of them offered placements for Computer Science students.

Placements: Placements are very good for our batch and our senior batch. Almost all the students were placed. Many companies, like JP Morgan, ZS, Mu Sigma, etc., visited the campus. Compared to final placements, very few students got internships from college. There is a proper placement cell, and it is working very effectively for students to get placed.
