Not a good college life but good for placements.

Placements: This college doesn't have good infrastructure or facilities compared to other top colleges, but it's only good for placements and internships because it's a 100-year-old college. So many big companies came here, like Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, American Tourister, JP Morgan, and so many other big and small companies with a good average package value. The percentage of students who get placed differs by branch, with CSE getting the highest pick and vice versa. Many financial and humanities courses ...

Old infrastructure, decent study, and good placements.

Placements: For civil engineering, nearly 50% of students are placed through the college. The highest package is somewhere between 24 LPA, and the minimum package is 3-6 LPA. The top company is L & T, and there are many others too, which are good ones. The maximum internship package is 50k, and it's decent too.

College is awesome and has a great placement structure.

Placements: Around 95% of people among all branches got placed. The highest package offered was INR 83 lac. There was 100% placement in CSE, ECE, and electrical. Many companies, like Microsoft, Atlassian, Apple, Deloitte, and J.P. Morgan, visited our college. There are 97% of students who got internships.

Scenic atmosphere and good placements.

Placements: Placements so far are the only thing that are above those of other colleges in the league. The placement rate and average CTC have increased significantly in the past few years. The average salary package for computer science was INR 24.2 LPA, and the average package was INR 17.7 LPA.

Good placements but bad infrastructure and faculty .

Placements: The only good thing about the college is its placement. All the top companies visit the campus during the placement. Although it is the first of this batch, the placement of other circuital branches is extremely good, with an average package of over INR 20 lakhs.

The only good thing about this college is its placements, which are pretty good.

Placements: The median package for my branch this year is INR 18 LPA, which is a very good placement for this college compared to similar colleges. Many companies, including NVidia, which is a top graphics card manufacturer, also come here for placements, which is a very good thing.

Review of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

Placements: There were 72 students in our batch, out of which 48 got placed, and the remaining either opted for higher studies or off-campus placements. Vedanta and GAIL were some of the top recruiters. The salary package offered was 5 LPA to 11 LPA. Internships were also provided.

Best for CSE and ECE courses, and placements, do visit campus for own campus review.

Placements: Under computer Science branch, placements and internships are super good. It's highly unlikely that you don't get placed in companies like PEC CS Apple Inc, which came to our campus and other big tech firms also prefer pec. Thapar also has the same companies to offer but pec brand value is more.

I suggest you to consider it as the last option.

Placements: There are placements only for computer science students, and for other branches, there are no placements. Companies from the only coding background will visit our campus for placements. All students have to attend interviews in coding companies to bag any placement. None of the companies visits here for any stream.

I'm just getting this degree for my parents.

Placements: No. of companies that interview the college depends on the branch merit (priority order). Usually maximum for CSE and mechanical engineering, then for other circuital branches followed by non-circuital. Google Facebook Apple do not visit.

Story of an over rated college.

Placements: Circuital students have somewhat scope of campus placements with >10 Lacs per annum. For non- circuitsl branches, core enthusiasts have a little difficult chance of placements. Interns have a nice scope considering both on camps and off campus. Overall? Placements are good.

Not upto the mark. Because of faculty members, placements, infra etc.

Placements: Placements were okay. Atleast 80-90% students were placed.17 Lacs was the highest most probably. Texas, Microsoft etc. Visited.40% students got internship from college. Yes there is placement cell. It is helpful sometimes but not always. Students even don't know the basic help of placement cell.

Satisfied with the college because I have found good people to be with. Good exposure.

Placements: The placements are not good in civil engineering but good for circuital branches. Civil engineers usually opt for non-core placements like in finance or MBA companies. CG is only a small basis for recruitment, which is a good thing. Mostly your conduct and achievements are seen. This is not an only-CG based college; it includes lots of extracurricular activities.

Improving the infrastructure and the curriculum.

Placements: The campus offers almost 95% of the placements for computer science students. The placement session for others branches is not that good. Only two to three core companies land for the rest of the branches. Either you can be placed in the coding profile or the consulting. Electrical core companies (on campus )offer you a maximum package of 6 LPA. There is a placement cell in the college, and it is always available to help you. Placements: The placement was okay. 40 percent of the batch got placed with good companies and had a package close to twenty lakhs. The lowest goes as low as four lakhs whereas the average is eight lakhs. Sandisk, Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, etc. come for recruitment. Companies come for internships as well and give Rs. 15000 as a stipend.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch are not satisfactory. Our seniors are placed mostly in consultancy companies and 5 out of 40 are placed in core companies of metallurgy. Placements are very poor in metallurgy. Most students of other branches are well-placed.
