I am satisfied pretty much and had a good experience.

Placements: Coming to the placements, SASTRA has a very good name among all the top companies. Many companies come to SASTRA for placements including Microsoft, IBM, etc., The brand company of SASTRA is TCS which takes about 900 students per year on an average. So if you are in any department, you are sure to be selected at TCS whatever CGPA you have, if you have cleared all the papers and you have the knowledge of programming basics like C, C++. So, I think there are no worries about the placements in this...

Best college in Tamilnadu, best placement, and best canteen.

Placements: Sastra can assure 100 percent placement. I have seen even people with a maximum of 2 years have placed in many good companies. In 2013, TCS made a record in selecting around 2000 candidates, and in my batch around 900 were placed with TCS and about 300 with IBM, Wipro, Accenture.

The university which provides good placements and path for the student's successful life.

Placements: Sastra University is meant for a huge number of the placements. Almost 1,500 students got placed in various companies with good packages. In this year, TCS company hired 74% of the students who applied for the company. Many companies offer the highest salary of 2.25 lacs per month(Amazon), and the lowest salary will be 20K per month. Major companies like TCS, IBM, Amazon, Mu Sigma, Microsoft, Zoho, CUB, L&T, Titan, Sirius, Newgen, etc. and more than 50 companies will come for hiring. The basic r...

SASTRA, an excellent destination for quality studies.

Placements: All the passing candidates will surely get placed. TCS recruits in huge numbers every year. The college has tie-ups with lots of MNCs. The highest package range is around Rs. 25 LPA. The average package will be Rs. 4.5 LPA. Paypal and Amazon recruit students in tens with more than Rs. 13 LPA and Tata Group recruits most of the students at SASTRA.

SASTRA University, is the best college and has best placements.

Placements: The placements are awesome in the university. Almost 85 % get placed. Lowest salary offers are 3 LPA, highest goes till 24 LPA. Almost all of the MNCs visit our university for placements. Students are involved in all the activities except administration. Most students are placed into TCS, IBM, Wipro and Accenture. The university in fact is very famous for its placement ratio which is higher than the average of Indian universities.

Good college with the best infrastructure

Placements: The college provides 100% placements to the students and major recruiters from all type of industries are coming to the campus for placements. When I was in the final year, Tata Consultancy Services was the largest recruiter and offered jobs to more than 700 students from all engineering branches. Other recruiters include Accenture, L&T Infotech, Infosys, Maruti Udyog, etc. The average placement was 5 lacs per annum.

SASTRA- the four year life was amazing!

Placements: In our batch, more than 90% of the students got placed. A few opted out of placements for higher studies like MS, MBA or M.Tech. The average salary offered was ~4 lpa. Many top companies such as Microsoft, eBay, TCS, IBM, Mu Sigma, Zoho, Wipro, etc. visited the campus. Along with these, a few core companies such as L&T, Bosch too selected the students.

SASTRA - The best opportunities available, with a few difficulties.

Placements: The majority of the placements happened to be with TCS. More than 1200 students were recruited by it in its mega recruitment event. Other reputed companies included Mu Sigma, Bosch, Wabag, Wipro, IBM, L&T, etc. The average salary was about 3.2 LPA. The salary ranged from 1.7 LPA to about 7.5 LPA. Internships were more about the students' interest rather than the colleges'. The students applied on their own and secured internships mainly through contacts and known sources. Satisfied because of placements.

Placements: The placements were pretty good. Since I belong to the civil department the only core company that came was L&T which recruited around 4 to 5 students. TCS and CUB are the major recruiters. A few students also got placed in firms like Musigma, Zoho and Amazon with high annual packages. The majority of students got placed at TCS. The computer science information technology and ECE students got offers from many companies when compared with other branches. SASTRA possesses a good placement cell and...

Placements: Our college has very good placements. Every student is given an opportunity and is placed in a very good company with a decent salary package. Latent View, PayPal, Mu Sigma, TCS, L&T, Semantic, Ninja Art, Amazon, Zoho, Microsoft, Fresh Works, Byju's are some popular companies which provide placements in our collage.

SASTRA - Sublime university that's one of the greatest in South India.

Placements: Placements were incredible for my batch of 2011-15. Almost everyone, except people with arrears, got placed in one or other company. Roughly, the percentage would be around 95% in total - this is indeed pretty high. The highest salary offered was 16 lakhs per annum while the lowest went around 1.8 lakhs per annum. Lots of startups like Freshdesk and bigger companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Bosch and Schneider Electric attended the process. Roles offered were mostly software developers...

Absolutely satisfying with faculty, good placement, good infrastructure, etc.

Placements: The college has good placements. Most of the seniors are placed with good packages. Most of the companies coming for recruitment are IT-based companies. TCS recruited around 700 graduates with a guaranteed contract for 2 years. There is an assurance of on-campus placement even for an average student.

Good college in order to improve knowledge.

Placements: Good core placement for students with CGPA>7.5 but mostly all get placed in IT companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. but you will have to study hard to get placed in a core company. Nearly 85% students got placed and the remaining also got off-campus placements. There is good placement training given on the campus. The students get placed in TCS widely.

Placements: The placements here are pretty good with good amount of companies visiting the campus. The placements for out seniors i.e. the last batch was good. There were about 80-90 percent of people placed. The highest package offered was about 27 LPA, the lowest was about 3 LPA and the average would be lying between around 4-5 LPA. Placements: Whether you're an outstanding first bencher or an average middle bencher or a naughty back bencher with a huge history of backlogs you'll end up getting a job. The nature of job with which you'll end up here not only depends upon your academics but also on your interest towards other activities and opportunities that are provided at SASTRA. Placements: The placements are quite good and there is a maximum campus placement assurance for the students from SASTRA University. Maximum companies under the IT sector offer placements to our students. TCS, Amazon, PayPal and Bajaj are some of the companies which visit for good placements in our institution.

Feedback for SASTRA University.

Placements: Placements at SASTRA are like a boon. If one has some basic communication skills and basic programming skills, then he can attain a minimum package of 3 LPA. TCS is the major recruiter from SASTRA. Last year, they had hired almost 1500 students. This year, they have hired 908 students which is the highest among all the colleges/universities across India. In the first two months, students can see a lot of dream companies. List of some companies: PayPal, ABB, Informatica, Juspay, Mu Sigma, Symante...

Placements are good. Faculty is bad. University infrastructure is great. Course is awesome.

Placements: Placements were good enough to get almost everyone placed in companies. However, the quality of placements was bad. Everyone had an opportunity to get placed in IT sector but not in their core domain. Placements rate was around 98%. Highest salary offered was 15 LPA and the average was 4 LPA. TCS hired most of the students while other service companies hired a good number of students. Core companies hired people in single digits.

SASTRA- The perfect knowledge centre.

Placements: Placements for my batch is pretty good actually. Sastra is known for their placements. TCS was the company in which most percentage of the students got placed. The salary offered by all companies are pretty good compared to universities of equal standards. The placement is made easy with the soft skill courses they provide.
