Facilities and faculty members are good.
Placements: Placements are moderate. If you study well and complete the course with a good CGPA, you can surely get placements. The average salary package offered in this college is about 3 to 4 LPA, but it depends on our result and talent. If you are academically good, then you can get good placements.
Infrastructure: Food served is good, and there is a separate library for all departments. There are different labs for different departments, and you can use both library and labs at any time. Classrooms are very good, neat and clean. Hostel facilities are normal and not that expensive.
Faculty: All the teachers are very good and helpful. They teach you thoroughly about the subject and course. You just have to focus on your studies and acquiring lots of knowledge. You can enjoy the course of B.Sc biotechnology as this course is interesting.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is a very good course.

The college has its pros and cons as every college in India.
Placements: The overall placement at Shuats for undergraduate and postgraduate courses have varied over the years. In 2024, the highest package offered across all disciplines was over 10 LPA, while the average range from 6 LPA. Specific placement rates for B.Sc. Biotechnology is not explicitly stated but is part of the university's broader placement efforts.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, so I don't know the truth about the hostel, but as much I heard it's okay. As for the infrastructure of the college, it is good for biotech. Classroom and Lecture Halls are well-equipped with audio-visual aids to support modern teaching methodologies. Labs are well-equipped with all the necessary equipment with the facilities for DNA extraction, PCR analysis, and other essential equipment required in technological studies. We have Wi-Fi and a library too.
Faculty: The faculty is good. The faculty members in the biotechnology department are generally well-qualified, holding advanced degrees such as M.Sc., M. Tech, etc. The Curriculum aligns well with contemporary development in biotechnology, covering topics like molecular biology, genetic engineering, and bioprocess technology. And the exams are well-scheduled.
Other: The college is good if you want to enjoy your life with a good education at the same time.

It is a great college but improvement worthy.
Placements: Researchers, professors, scientists, dairy industry, food industry, forensic labs, etc., were the types of roles offered in our course. The average salary package offered ranges differ from 3 LPA to 4 LPA approximately. More than 60% of the students got satisfactorily placed. Though more companies should be called.
Infrastructure: Labs and libraries were updated always. The entire department had a centralised air conditioning system. Our college was attached to a hospital for any case of emergency. Rules were to be followed must and the management was the best. The hostel was also clean.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well qualified and extremely genuine. They were always on time and they provided great study materials. Students get a lot of practical training which makes them industry-ready. Though little guidance regarding the future would be good.
Other: Extra-curricular activities were great. Hence they provide overall personality development.
