A good university for everything .

Placements: Almost everyone gets placed here. Very high-paying companies visit the university for placements. The stipends for interns are also good. Every year, many startups also visit for placements, which means more opportunities.

Disappointed because of the faculty recently. Placements are not good, but infrastructure is good .

Placements: Average placements recently are not nice. The top recruiters are Apple, Google, Infosys, etc. 60–70% of students were placed. The total number of students placed this year was 1770; further, 70% of students were placed and the average package was around 5 lakh to 11.09 lakh.

Great infrastructure and college life. Good placements in 2024. Faculty is good and helpful.

The highest package was around 55 Lacs per annum and the lowest being around 5 Lacs per annum. The average package is around 10 Lacs per annum. Top recruiters are JPMC and Barclays among many others. Chemical engineering at Thapar University was a wholesome experience.

Placements: Almost every student of my batch was placed with the highest package of 19 LPA in non-core at JP Morgan, and in core it was 18 LPA at Trident. The lowest package was 6 LPA, which was offered by L&T. My batch strength was 48, and 44 were placed. The rest didn't apply for placements.

Thapar Institute has top-notch infrastructure with great facilities.

Placements: I'm a second-year student of TIET pursuing my B.Tech in computer engineering. Placement for computer branches is decent; some companies offer good placements, but due to the large number of students in this branch, the CGPA cutoff is very high. Companies like JP Morgan are among the top recruiters. The average package is around 10 lakhs for this course; the highest can vary year upon year. The lowest package is 3-4 lakhs.

One of the best private colleges in India and really worth it .

Placements: This year 5 students from our college got placed in Microsoft, and the placement percentage is near about 85, which is a good number, but still many students, especially of the branches like mechanical or chemical and mechatronics, need to struggle more for placement, and I have no idea why.

Amazed by the experience in Thapar University Patiala in 2024.

Placements: About 80-90 percent of the students in the electronics and computer branch get placed. Placement was not so good for 2023 due to rescission, but it has again shown in good numbers in 2024. The average package is 10-15 LPA, and the highest goes to 30-50 LPA. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, etc. are some of the top recruiting companies. About 70-80 percent of students get internships in electronics and computers. Great campus with beautiful park and infrastructure.

Placements: I am currently in the first year, so I don't know much about placements. But from what I have heard, the average package this year for COE was 15 LPA, and the maximum was 80 LPA to 1 CPA. Thapar has a strong placement cell, as well as a vast alumni network, which helps a lot with internships and placements. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia also come for on-campus placements.

Review of Thapar University.

Placements: The overall placement is excellent for our current senior batch. Many have been placed at various companies like Optum, FirstCry, etc. Also many if then git interned at Black Rock, Xpedia and many more. The college is also working very hard to call more companies so that all students get placed at a good package.

Placements: The eligibility criteria are different, offered by different companies, and companies like Google, Amazon, and Infosys, along with many more MNCs, visit for on-campus placement. The highest package last year was around 55 Lacs, and it is increasing every year, while the average package is around 15 Lacs. Around 70 percent of students get placed. Placements: Almost 90-95% students with 7 CGPA are placed with an average package of around 12.1 LPA and the highest being 55 LPA INR. Internships after 2nd and 3rd year are a bit hard to crack but the number is quite good as compared to other colleges. Top recruiters are Google, Apple, Samsung, BlackRock etc.

Placements: This time the placement is good. Approximately 80 students got placed in Black rock Company, while others in Future First, Xperia, etc. Internships offers are also coming regularly by the college. And each and every student got the opportunity to sit in the first round for the internship test.

Placements: 70% of students placed the highest package offered on campus at around 52 LPA. Various internship offers were revoked due to a bad outlook in the industry. The roles offered were mostly SDE, ML/AI, business analyst, etc. Blackrock, JP Morgan, and Accenture were the companies that hired the students. Accenture did a great job hiring the batch of 2024.
