The counselling process of TUET 2020 will be conducted in offline mode tentatively in September month. Tripura University will conduct the counselling process on the basis of the merit list, which will be based on the qualifying examination. The merit list of each subject will be different and, candidates will be called for the counselling process depending on the rank obtained by them in the relevant subject merit list. Once the choices are locked by the candidates after seat allotment, they need to pay the admission fee to confirm their seat. Candidates then have to report to their concerned department with the academic and caste category documents. The candidature of students remaining absent on the day of counselling shall automatically be cancelled. 

TUET 2020 Counselling Schedule

The counselling process of TUET 2020 will be held as per the schedule below:

Documents Required TUET 2020 Counselling

The candidate needs to submit the following documents at the time of counselling:

  • TUET 2020 application form 
  • TUET 2020 admit card 
  • TUET 2020 result-cum-scorecard 
  • High School Mark sheet
  • Age certificate
  • Income certificate
  • Caste Certificate 
  • Intermediate (+2) or equivalent Mark sheet
  • Intermediate Certificate (if issued)
  • 10+2+3 mark sheet & degree
  • Transfer Certificate from the institute last attempted 
  • Migration Certificate (if issued by the Board)
  • Admit card of Class 10th and 12th examinations
  • Medical or PH certificate as issued by the competent authority 

TUET 2020 Seat Reservation Criteria

The seat allotment process of Tripura University will be done on the basis of criteria below: 

Category  Reservation Criteria in %
Unreserved 50% of the total seats
Scheduled Caste 31% of the total seats
Schedled Tribe 17% of the total seats
Other Backward Class 2% of the total seats
Economically Weaker Section 10% of the total seats
