The college has great events and placements. It only lacks infrastructure.
Placements: The college has a very good placement rate. In the last year, around 75-80% of students got placed on campus. The highest salary package offered for civil engineers is 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Almost all college students get an internship. Some students got paid internships and some got unpaid internships.
Infrastructure: The civil department in the college has very good infrastructure. All the facilities are provided in classrooms. The lab instruments are precise. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus area. The hostel conditions are not that good. The hostel has poor infrastructure, but the mess food is good.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD holders from IITs. They have vast knowledge in their respective fields. The schedule of the college is so busy, like 9 AM to 5 PM job. The college starts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Semester exams are quite tough, and the minimum percentage required for passing is 35%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to apply for a government job and civil has a vast scope for them. The college should provide lectures for competitive exams like engineering services exams. Events are so well-organised and they are good.

Dissatisfied because of the infrastructure. It provided good placements in 2024.
Placements: In the chemical course, the highest salary package offered was 23 LPA in 2024. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. In the chemical course, you easily get a decent salary package. The highest salary package was given by Gulf Sky company. Many students from the chemical department got placed.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have air-conditioners and the library is decent. They are open at the end of 1st semester, but the food served is good. There is a ground to play sports but it is not properly maintained. It also does not provide sports equipment to play. The hostel is not available but you can easily rent a room near the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and very supportive of studies. The IT exams are moderate. If you study exams properly, then it will be easy for you without any backlogs. Semester exams are not that hard, and if you study properly, then you easily get good marks.
Other: I have chosen chemical course because I like Chemistry and its organics. They should make some improvements on the campus and should include some extracurricular activities.

Average - go for it only if you live in Navi Mumbai and don't want to travel a lot.
Placements: If you can get a better option, then do not come here. I have not seen the top companies coming out here; it may be average for MBA courses but not for other courses. Do not expect a good package after completing your studies at this place. It has quite a reputation but the reality is different.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty basic. The curriculum is also average. Benches are broken. Mics for lectures do not work. Old classrooms. Collects a good amount of money and donations but hardly anything on infrastructure. Not a great college at all.
Faculty: Annual fests are pretty nice. Exams and curriculum are decent. Teachers are qualified. The curriculum is not that great. Lecturers hardly seem to care. They do their jobs and leave. Though they are available for doubt-solving,. The college seems to be more invested in festivals.

Our college has good infrastructure, and if possible they will extend the college campus.
Placements: Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College has demonstrated commendable placement performance across its various engineering courses. The highest salary package offered in the 2023-24 placement season was 32.57 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.95 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus provides seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling students to access online resources and stay connected. The cafeteria offers a variety of vegetarian meals and snacks, maintaining hygiene standards to ensure quality food for students. Facilities for indoor and outdoor games are available, which promote the physical well-being of students. A gym is available for fitness enthusiasts. SAKEC does not have on-campus hostel facilities. However, students can find accommodation in nearby areas like Govandi and Chembur. The college assists by providing information on available options. Overall, SAKEC strives to provide a comprehensive environment that supports both academic pursuits and personal development.
Faculty: Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC) is recognised for its qualified and supportive faculty members. Students have noted that professors are helpful and guide them through various processes, including placements. The course curriculum at SAKEC is designed with industry relevance in mind. The college emphasises skill enhancement for sustainable development in specialised domains, such as VLSI Design and Technology. This focus aims to prepare students for employment, higher education, and entrepreneurship.
Other: The course which I choose is overall the best and the placements of ECS are quite high.

Good enough to enroll in the college.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements, but at the same time, it has fests which are good for experience. But we can't use them in resumes or any stuff. Some committees are good, and some are not as good as others. There's exposure and a great experience for beginners.
Infrastructure: It's pretty good, and the good part is that they are improving. At the same time, they should focus more on infrastructural development rather than other stuff. There is improvement no doubt about it, but the speed of the improvement is as slow as a tortoise.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are excellent while some aren't good. We have an excellent professor for literature and film studies. He knows what he is teaching. He knows what to do and how to do it while on the other hand, the other professor just teaches and gives notes. There is nothing over it.
Other: The college is well-known for its fests. I want to shoot and edit fest videos as a career.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college providing no placements and having higher fees.
Placements: Only sales and call centre jobs were offered by small firms that visited for the placements. The packages offered ranged between 15000 to 20000 only. There is no special placements cell in the college. The teachers just share the jobs on WhatsApp groups and the students apply from there.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is decent. They don't have their own ground. The canteen is always closed and no hostel facility is provided by the college. The college supports sports only if you are already good at it. The classrooms and labs are good with the teachers using projectors to teach.
Faculty: Majority teachers are good but a few of them come only to pass time. They don't bother about the students understanding anything, they don't even complete their portion on time. The students have to rely upon themselves to study for the exams regarding a few subjects, the rest are good.
