The University of Mumbai BE or BTech is a four-year programme offered via more than 60 affiliated colleges. The course is available across 18 specialisations. Admission to BE and BTech colleges of MU (most colleges) is based on a valid score in MHT-CET. However, many affiliated colleges under Mumbai University also accept a valid rank in JEE Main.

Like any other Institution/University maintaining an attendance of 75% is mandatory for the students at Mumbai University. The University has its own Attendance Committee, for the smooth conduct of this ordinance in every Department.
