I am satisfied with this best college.

Placements: Placements for the B.Tech courses are quite nice. But integrated M.Sc students have to suffer and have to try for off-campus placements. Many multinational companies visit our college and offer the dream salary packages to the students. Many mass recruiters are also available who just give many opportunities to average students in the B.Tech course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is awesome. The college has greenery scenes. It has an awesome canteen and cafeteria. The Hirakud Dam near the college and the P. C. Bridge Burla, etc., looks gorgeous. It has its own kind of beauty, which cannot be described.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good. You have to focus and depend upon your self-study. Sometimes faculty members use hard words. The best part is faculty members are always ready to teach you the best. Whenever and as many times you want, they are ready to teach you.

Other: Campus life is just awesome. Many fests and activities are conducted here.

Integrated M.Sc. In VSSUT.

Placements: I am in a 5 year integrated M.Sc. Course 1. In my course, 10-15 % students get placed. Generally we aim for higher studies and do not focus on placements. 2. Around 3.5 L packages was offered. 3. Physics students generally go for software companies like infosys, wipro etc. and chemistry students go for industrial companies. 6. 50-60% students got internship last year and all were in technical institutes like IIT and NIT. Some also got internship at NISER.

Infrastructure: 1. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are available and well-equipped, but labs are little congested. 2. Hostels are provided with all possible aspects like washing machine, water purifier, Library, study room etc., but we face some problems related to water in summer. Our college is well active in sports like football, volleyball, cricket, basketball, badminton etc. Athletic meet is conducted every year and our college hosts one inter college sports meet every alternate year.

Faculty: 1. All the teachers are helpful and qualified, but you may face some teachers whom we cannot consider as knowledgeable. You may also find some irritating teachers, but we need to manage. 2. The course is relevant and my course students are performing well after passing out from the college.

Other: 1. Integrated M.Sc. course gives a good chance to complete bachelor's and masters degree at once. It helps to focus on the stream. 2. Better equipment for labs and more space is needed.
