VIT Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Vandalur

Placements: Every student who appeared for placements got an offer from a company in my course. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, BCG, Standard Charted, Cisco, and TCS came here. Students got internships in Deloitte, Hit Wicket, Schneider Electric, Wipro, IBM, HP, and Honeywell. Full-stack developer, frontend and backend analysts, and consultant roles are offered.

Placements: About 100% of the students who attend placements will get a job from here, as this is the main feature of VIT. But the quality of those jobs is not really good unless you have a good CGPA and are good at extracurricular activities. Usually, CSE-related companies visit here for placements. Software engineer, etc., roles are offered here.

Placements: Placements are pretty good at Vellore Institute of Technology. Almost all the students get placed (talking about CSE only because I belong to CSE). The companies that come here are of 3 tiers. Placements: 90-95 percent of students were places in 2019-2020 in school of computer science. The highest package was offered by Microsoft to 8 students, the package was 44 lakhs per annum. Placements: The salary trend in vit has improved over years with the maximum average salary being 6.04 lakhs per annum. The highest salary offered in placement 2020 was 41.6 lakhs per annum. Regular offers: under the regular offers of the placements in 2019, 2470 students were offered ctc greater than 3 lakhs per annum which was 1565 in the year 2018.

Placements: As per the previous placement records of our college, it has a 100% placements record, and almost everyone got placed. The highest package was beyond 12 LPA, whereas the lowest package was 4 LPA, and the average package was around 6 LPA. Many different roles were offered in our branch.

Placements: As per the latest stats, the highest package offered in 2020 was 42.5 LPA by Microsoft. Even though it was a tough time due to Covid-19, the placement stats of our college are much better than others. Major companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Adobe, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, etc., offered super dream placements with a package above 15 LPA.

Placements: Placements are really good at VIT Chennai, especially for the computer science branch. Since I am still studying, I don't know much about our batch placements. Placements: All students in Computer Science got placement in the year 2020. The highest package was 41.6 LPA, the average was 7.25 LPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA from mass recruiting companies like TCS and Infosys. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Philips, HP, Oracle, Bosch and Google. A total of 1926 people got internships from 544 companies out of which around 1/3rd was from CSE. Top roles are in the field of software engineering and database administration.

Placements: Due to pandemic this year, placements got tough, but many companies are recruiting students like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Cognizant, etc. The average salary package offered is 5-6 LPA. The dream salary package offered is 8-14 LPA. On the basis of percentage, about 60-70% of the students got placements in different fields with roles.

Placements: Placements in this university are quite good but not excellent. All the computer science students will have high possibilities to get placed in companies, but for mechanical branch or civil branch, it is a bit difficult to get placed in a core company. However, overall, the placements are good.

Placements: Placements are good. Students who scored above 8 CGPA get good offers, but everyone who scored above 6 CGPA gets a decent job. Mostly, IT jobs are offered even for EEE, ECE and even mechanical students with a good salary package.

More than 80% of the students got n internship, and placements are also available in our college. Even after completing college, students can attend placements through college for 3 years.

Top companies which visit our college for placements are Amazon, PayPal, TCS, CTS, Cognizant, Alstom, etc. More than 500 companies visit here for the recruitment process with good salary packages.

Placements: Most of the students from our course got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. All 4 IT companies, i.e., TCS, Infosys, Capgemini and Accenture, visited our college for placements. For mechanical branch, MRF, Volvo and Hafele visited our campus. About 80% of the students from the mechanical branch got placed.

Placements: Around more than 60 percent got placed across various companies that include even internship and full-time offers. The highest package was around 40 LPA from Microsoft company. All the top companies reached our campus. Roles offered are application developer and business analyst.

The average salary package offered in our course 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our course are TCS, Nokia, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. Around 85% of the students got internships from your course in companies like Nokia, Cognizant, Paypal, and TCS. Top roles offered in our course are as software developer and tester.

Placements: Around 20% of the students got placed from college. Due to the pandemic, recruitment got decreased. But still, it is going good. The highest salary package offered was 35 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, De Shaw, etc., are the top companies that visit our campus. Around 15% students got internships in companies like Intel, Utopus, Siemens, Cummins, etc. Software developer, tester, Analyst, etc., are the roles offered.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students who took up placements, were placed in IT giants, and 25% of the students got placed in dream and super dream software jobs. Only 10% of the students got offers in core companies, quoting to the effects of the pandemic. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.
