It is a very well established university, has all newly build infrastructure, both academic buildings and hostels. Management is effective and corporative. For all branches there are good lab facilities with all the latest equipment's. A complete national integration with no discrimination is observed. Faculties are good and helpful all the times, thought the rules of university are strict but still it is good for overall development.

A novice as of now. But being run by giant in its field this campus is growing like anything. Infrastructure is not that much as compared to VIT VELLORE. But yes they do have same pattern as being followed there. We do have comparatively more strictness and discipline, and till now our placement are sync with Vellore.

College is good and B.Tech is one of the best course here and everyone will be placed over here. Departments like CSE, Mechanical, ECE, has better scope when compared with EEE and Civil M.Tech is little bit low graded when compared with B.Tech, whereas CSE with Big data and Cloud Computing is most important one here.

Pros - Reputed and well known College. - You will be definitely placed. - Academics wise stronger. - MOUs with many foreign universities for those going for higher education. - Education system is very much aligned with foreign universities. There are classes organized according to subjects and not the batch wise. Cons - Located in Chennai suburbs which is the worst part. - Strict rules, no college life. - Still developing, so opportunities are less compared to Vellore Campus. - Packages are ave...

VIT Chennai. A relatively young college. I was myself in the 2nd batch of this college. We used to have placements at Vellore Campus, because there only the companies visited. But there was no discrimination between the two colleges. Pros: Good labs , Clean hostels , Good Classrooms , Great Library, Some faculties are really good and know there subjects , other are not so good at teaching but have high qualifications hence professors. Cons: Poor campus activities, not much encouragement for comp...

It is a fantastic college, talented faculty, great environment & better exposure than any other big universities of the country. It provides top class placements which happens every year while the industrial approach study helps students to decide their field of interest on their own.

It is good college in terms of infrastructure and placements but if personally hate the weather of Chennai. Teachers are little narrow-minded and of orthodox beliefs. You will find a lot of opportunities in both areas of academics and personal interests.

The college has a good infrastructure and style of teaching is different from all other colleges. You can join it if you are not getting IIT or top NIT. The college is worth money spent. It offers 100% placement. Also you can get some future culture here and a fully flexible course system of study. The faculty are from all the top colleges and Ph.D holders. Major are Ph.D from IITs.

Good infrastructure and facilities but hostel food is subpar.

Placements: Apparaently there is no set placements yet for the law school in VITC. But they are building a placement cell which helps in finding internship and potential placement for the students. Currently few students have gained internship through it. It is advisable to build a good portfolio by attending muns and conferences.

campus is good not very crowded ,placements are good only

Placements: I am not having the exact data...but the ratio of students who got successfully placed is very high...It is one of the top private colleges in India.Highest Domestic package was 50LPA and the median is about 8 LPA...Companies like Baker Mckenzie,allen&overy.etc..Here is lot of rush to get on campus internship...as all the students wants the internship...so we have to try to get the internship from off-campus.

Huge Crowd and Placement problems.

Placements: The placement of this campus is good enough, but the competition is high due to huge amount of students present here. It would be best if you try to work little more hard than others from 1st year only. Students from different branches are also allowed to sit in CSE placements, so beware of them too, because some of them are very good in studies.
