It is a good place to experience diversity and explore your interests, but it is very expensive.

Placements: VIT offers great placement opportunities and has been consistently recording 100% placements for the past few years. Most of the top recruiters are service-based companies. We also get offers from product-based companies. You need to maintain a good GPA throughout the course.

Good infrastructure, the admission charges for the course is fine but hostel is costly.

Placements: The placement cell of the college conducts the drive to provide well off opportunities to the students but in terms of internships, the students will have to make their effort in finding companies to intern with as college does not help you with that.

It is a good college if you are getting admission with 1st or 2nd category in CSE branch.

Placements: Placements of the Chennai campus take place at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. Over 650 companies, including Microsoft, PayPal, Amazon, Cisco, Oracle, HP, Intel, Google, IBM, Infosys, etc., visit here for placements. The placements are quite good for computer science branch at least. The average salary package offered for the last batch was 8.5 LPA which is pretty good for a private college. The college is very good, and if you study hard, you'll surely get better placements here.

Placements: The placements are good, and all types of companies come to the campus to give opportunities to students, but competition is tough. The average package offered in CSE is around 9 LPA. It would be better if you get some internships in 2nd and 3rd years, which helps you a lot in placements. Overall, the college is good.

Placements: The one field in which VIT shines the brightest is its campus placements, especially for the various computer science courses. This is the feature that attracts a lot of high school graduates to take admission to VIT. VIT Chennai and Vellore have a common placement which will be held at Vellore.

If you have a good rank you can opt for this college as it has value for money.

Placements: The overall placements of our batch were pretty good and many product-based companies visited the campus in 2017 although many of them didn't hire a lot of students, still it was a good thing. The average salary package offered was somewhere around 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Most of the companies were from the core department.

Placements: Placements are optimum, and even civil and mechanical students are forced to take admission in computer science firms to improve the placement rate of the college. The average salary package offered in B.Tech CSE would be more than 8-10 LPA.
