I would recommend students to join this college for the CS branch.

Placements: Placements are very good, but only for the computer science branch i.e. information technology. Students from these branches have the opportunity to give placements for tech giants like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, DE Shaw, and other branch students like electronics and communication branch students are not at all eligible to give slot 1 or super dream placements. The college allows writing mass companies like Infosys and TCS which are regular offers. The average salary package offered is 4.5-6 LP...

VIT is a great college for engineering aspirants and tech enthusiasts.

Placements: The placement cell at VIT is quite active, and every year a lot of companies visit here for recruitment. But a lot of companies don't visit here to hire core electrical engineering graduates. Many reputed companies like Whirlpool, Alstom, Hyundai, Qualcomm, HP, etc., visit here. They offer a good salary package. Apart from that, a lot of IT and consulting companies like Deloitte, ZS, TCS, etc., visit here. During my year of graduation, the salary package offered for EEE graduates varied from 3.5...

Overall college is good but one really needs to work hard to cope up with the curriculum.

Placements: 90-95 percent of students were places in 2019-2020 in school of computer science. The highest package was offered by Microsoft to 8 students, the package was 44 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Jp morgan and chase, amazon, flipkart, PayPal, Cisco, tcs, wipro, delloit, Accenture etc. On campus internships were by jp morgan, flipkart, Microsoft and tcs. Average package offered was 40 thousand per month, this package may vary as far as accommodation, food etc are considered...

I am satisfied with the facilities of the college but not satisfied with the food quality.

Placements: All students in Computer Science got placement in the year 2020. The highest package was 41.6 LPA, the average was 7.25 LPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA from mass recruiting companies like TCS and Infosys. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Philips, HP, Oracle, Bosch and Google. A total of 1926 people got internships from 544 companies out of which around 1/3rd was from CSE. Top roles are in the field of software engineering and database administration.

Everything depends on our hard work and knowledge.

Placements: Due to pandemic this year, placements got tough, but many companies are recruiting students like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Cognizant, etc. The average salary package offered is 5-6 LPA. The dream salary package offered is 8-14 LPA. On the basis of percentage, about 60-70% of the students got placements in different fields with roles.

In this college, we can learn and grow.

Placements: Placements in this university are quite good but not excellent. All the computer science students will have high possibilities to get placed in companies, but for mechanical branch or civil branch, it is a bit difficult to get placed in a core company. However, overall, the placements are good.

I am satisfied with better placements and discipline.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students who took up placements, were placed in IT giants, and 25% of the students got placed in dream and super dream software jobs. Only 10% of the students got offers in core companies, quoting to the effects of the pandemic. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.

It is a good university but is not up to expectation.

Placements: Only some students got placed in core companies, while the rest of the students got placed in IT companies. Cognizant, TCS and Infosys are top recruiters for our course, and students got placed in business analysts companies. Only very minimal students didn't get placed. Students who opt for higher studies are not allowed to attend placements.

It is a very good for this course.

Placements: Since I am a BBA LL.B. student, we don't have placements for our department. Other departments have good placement opportunities, and many companies approach our college to recruit students. As far as our department is concerned, we have to join a firm on our own and practise.

I am satisfied with the college, but there are a lot of restrictions for students.

Placements: TCS is the top recruiting company. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA in Microsoft. I don't have an idea about the lowest salary package offered, but most of the students got placed. Most of the students got an internship from PAT, which is something college rules. Amazon, PayPal, Microsoft and many other companies recruit students every year.

Good for placements in computer Science.

Placements: Placements at VIT, Chennai went exceptionally well. A large number of students of the computer Science department were placed with packages more than 9LPA. The highest package roughly went to 40L CTC. Most of the companies came for the post of data analyst and software developers.

Placements: Around 70% of the students from our college get placed. The highest salary package offered here is 38 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. E&Y, Deloitte, PwC, Bank of America, etc., are the top recruiters for our course. Almost every student who doesn't have any backlog at the time of placements get the internship. Placements will be conducted along with the VIT Vellore campus at Vellore.

Placements: According to VIT placement record of the college is 100 percent and somehow it is true also, if you are sitting for the placement and you are not having any arrears you will surely get the job. I am a student of computer Science and engineering so I can tell about my branch. The maximum package was around 42 Lacs and the average is nearly 6-7 Lacs. Our college has good infrastructure and facilities, but better teaching is expected.

Placements: Our batch students are not however placed, so the amount cannot be predicted, but 20 LPA of dream offer for other branches can be guessed. L&T was the top recruiting company of our college. NO top roles are offered. Around 5-10% of students get internships in companies like L&T through personal contacts. A fair amount of placements are not provided by the college.
