Faculty are good, placement better than most of the college's, very strict and conservative staff.

Placements: 1. Since the world economy is down, automobile industry is heavily affected by this slowdown. The mechanical stream students are heavily suffering due to this slowdown. 10% of the total batch strength gets selected in core companies. Others get selected in mass companies and other companies offering business analyst positions as well. 2. The highest salary for the entire batch was around 40lpa, the lowest salary is around 3lpa, average salary is around 8lpa for the entire batch. But this salary...

Microsoft, Cognizant and other 250 companies visit here for placements. Project lead roles are offered. Almost 70% of the students got internships. There is a separate placement chamber to train all the students and help to get placed in good companies. There are three types of companies, and they are a super dream, dream company, and bulk company.

Satisfied with the courses and lab facilities.

Placements: The placements for mechanical engineering are currently dull. However, a few core companies such as Bajaj have hired few students and so did the other few companies. Mass recruitment hasn't started yet here.

I am satisfied with infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements of college are very good. If you are in the computer science branch, you'll surely get placed in some good company. If not, you'll get an offer in a mass company. The highest salary package offered ranges of more than 40 LPA every year. Most of the students get the core jobs.

Place to learn, chance to grow.

Placements: Refer VIT site placement portal. I have no idea about it. I have experienced learning based on practical and professional knowledge. Finding supportive seniors. Being in the first year this is what I have yet experienced. I would be exploring more in the coming years.

Would recommend this college if you are looking for placements in a good organisation.

Placements: Placement opportunities in this University are growing year by year as this college is recently ranked in top 10 private universities. The highest package was 39 Lacs from Microsoft and around 3-5 people got it. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Amazon Web Services, VM ware, Deloitte, NetApp, Code Nation came in this college. So conclusively the placement cell is very efficient.

I am satisfied but ROI is very less.

Placements: Placements in Mechanical core branch needs the student to be well prepared with the concepts for cracking interview and the completion is too much. During my time Vellore and Chennai were placed together, hence getting placed in mechanical with decent package was a big deal but the CS and IT placements were pretty good.

The college is satisfying, but a little overcrowded.

Placements: The placement process of this institution is very useful. Companies like Deloitte, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Alstom, Microsoft, etc., to name a few that visited the campus for hiring. The highest salary package offered was 20-25 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 3-3.5 LPA.

I am satisfied with placements.

Placements: More than 60 companies visited the campus this year for placements of MCA students, which dream, regular and super dream companies. Almost everyone is placed. Placement drives conducted here are the best drives in the world. Top MNCs are recruiting students from the college. It is good to take admission in VIT for freshers.

Placements are one of the best in the country, but I'm dissatisfied with the college life.

Placements: The college has a dedicated placement cell. They are highly dedicated to making sure that every student is placed in a good firm. Compared to other colleges, placement season in this college is not limited, and companies visit the campus throughout the year. Computer science department students have the upper hand as software companies mostly visit the campus for placements, and the pre-requisite for students is good coding skills.

You will eventually get used to VIT with time.

Placements: Placements for the current batch are still going on, and the placements of seniors were good. The overall placement percentage was around 86%. The average salary package offered is 5.61 LPA, and the highest is 39 LPA. All sorts of IT and core companies visit the campus for placements, and the rest depends on the batch and how much can they make use of it.

Best in class experience at VIT.

Placements: The placements at VIT University are incredibly properly compared to different personal universities and engineering faculty members. The college supplied ample quantity of opportunities to get a complete-time task, internships, in addition to possibility to pursue better training in optimum schooling institutes in India and overseas. For my batch, (2016) round ninety five% of students were positioned in campus placement with the average revenue being 4 LPA. The lowest provide was of 3 LPA given...
