Girls think once before coming. Overall a good college but no campus life.

Placements: The placements are very good in VIT. It gets almost more that 90% students placed by the end of there academic year. Most of the students are placed either in the core of consultancy companies and those who are left go up into mass recruitment companies like tcs, wipro, Accenture. The average placement package varies from type of company. For example if placed in core company the average package is 4-5LPA and maximum is 24LPA, whereas if placed in consultancy company the average package is bette...

Vit Chennai, good place for knowledge.

Placements: Placements in vit has always been good. It gives more than 90% Placement including mass and all. Core companies like GE, Johnson, Schindler, L&T visit the campus for recruitment and offer an average package of 5-6LPA. The placement and package is high in consultancy services company. They offer an average package of 6-7LPA. The highest package offered for the present batch was somewhere around 24LPA for ECE department by Cisco. It was even higher for CSE.

Vit Chennai a place to learn but with very strict rules for the girls.

Placements: The placements are good compared to any other private institute. Core companies like GE, Johnson, Schindler India etc. Come up for recruitment and students are placed an average amount of 5-6LPA if placed in such companies. Many consultancy company like MuSigma etc., also come up for placed and offer students an average of 5-6LPA.

Very strict rules which does't let you enjoy college.

Placements: The placements are good in VIT Chennai. There are more than 50+ companies which come for the recruiting students. The average placement package for core placed student is 5-5.5LPA and it goes as high as 24LPA, and that for consultancy services company is also very good, they just keep a bond before joining. I myself am placed in MuSigma which is also a consultancy service company.

Not good placements but teachers are great.

Placements: If you consider core placements for CIVIL it's next to 0, but students do end up into consultancy companies and mass recruitment companies. The pay for them varies from 3-3.5 LPA in mass companies to 5-8LPA in consultancy services which even give a good joining bonus but as you to sign a bond for a minimum of 3 years.

Good placements and helpful faculty members but strict.

Placements: There are in excess of 150 companies that visit our college for placements. We have classified them as normal, dream and super dream. The organizations with the bundle of beneath 4-5 LPA go under normal, the organizations with the bundle of underneath 8 LPA go under dream, and the bundle with over 8 LPA go under super dream. The most extreme bundle is around 24 LPA, and the least would associate with 2 LPA (having been placed in mass recruitment companies). For sitting in placements it is compul...

VIT Chennai. Bad placements, good faculty members and too but strict rules.

Placements: The placements are very poor for M.Tech department. Faculty helps students wit the internships, but its very rare for companies to come and recruit the students of M.Tech. In our batch, only 20-30% students are placed. Rest are still to find jobs or end up in mass recruitment companies.

Placements: CSE is the branch with most elevated dream and super dream offers relatively everyone get a fantasy offer (10 LPA like paypal, amazon, etc). The placements for EEE branch is good. Students are placed in one or the other company, and the core placements are also good. The placed people get an average package of around 4-5 LPA depending on the company like whether it's core, consultancy or mass. VIT Chennai, bad for civil and mechanical.

Placements: The placements in the civil department are very low. The students are mostly placed into mass recruitment companies as the core placements are very low. Hardly 10-15 students would get selected in the core companies. The mass placements are also depending upon your coding language strength. The students get an average of 3-3.5 LPA only.

Vit Chennai, Good for placement but dull college life.

Placements: The placements are same for both Vellore and Chennai campus. There is no discrimination in the basis of campus. The students are placed decently with an average package of 4-5LPA except those placed in mass recruitment companies. Both core and consultancy companies visit the campus for recruitment. You will companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Honda, General Electric, and all other big names you can think of.

VIT Chennai good in placements but not good in college life.

Placements: The placements in the ECE department are okay. Students get placed mostly into the consultancies as they pay well and are Comparitivly easy to get into. The average package for a person placed in core company is around 5-6lpa and same is that for the consultancies. The highest package offered by a core company this year was 24lpa whereas that if consultancy was somewhere around 16-17lpa.

VIT CHENNAI, Good place if you have aim for placement.

Placements: The college placement is quite decent. VIT gets you placed in some or the company for sure. There isn't any difference in placement when it comes to comparison between Vellore and Chennai campus. The student getting placed in core company gets package starting from 5lpa to as high as 24lpa. Whereas those placed in consultant companies get better package as it starts from almost6-7LPA and are easy to get into.

Not too good campus life, a jail specially for girls.

Placements: The placement in this campus is quite good. Many students get placed in the core companies specially those from EEE or CSE. The college gets almost every student placed that is if he/she is willing for the same. The average package for core companies varies from 4-6 LPA whereas that for mass recruiters is only 3-3.5 LPA.

A college which would fulfil your infrastructure needs but not sure about the faculty members.

Placements: Last year, the highest placement made on the campus was 28 lacs per annum by PayPal, and the minimum salary package was six lacs per annum. Almost 100% placement was done just like every year. Most of the companies visited VIT, which had both the high-end ones like Amazon, PayPal, Google, and even had some mass recruiters likes TCS and Infosys.
