A college which is only based on placements.

Placements: The placements will be in Vellore campus, and we had to travel up to Vellore. Most of the companies, and for some 1st written online exam will be in Chennai, and shortlisted students only will be moving to Vellore for further rounds of placements. The number of companies that come is high, but the average package is low.

VIT is the best university for the aspiring minds.

Placements: A lot of companies come to the college for the placements starting with the salary package of more than 4 LPA. A few companies offered a salary package of more than 10 LPA, but the number of students they hire is limited, compared to the bulk recruiters like Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The other companies include Zoho, Bank of America, Hexaware, Birlasoft, etc. The dream companies include Oracle, Microsoft, Paypal, Schneider, etc. In between, many companies visit the college ...

A review of Vellore Institute of Technology - Chennai Campus.

Placements: Placements offered at our college are good. Many big companies came to provide jobs to the deserving students. Mass recruiters came to recruit the average students at average packages. Many companies came with dream offers for brilliant students. Overall, the placements are fine, and the college has a track record of 100% placements.

VIT - A place to enjoy as well as to develop.

Placements: The placements are really good compared to other colleges, but the number of people getting placed in core companies for mechanical is low. Almost everyone gets an IT job like TCS/Infosys. Many companies take people for internships in the seventh semester. The computer science branch is the best for placements and ECE people who can code also go into companies with packages around 10-12 LPA. For mechanical, the average package is 4-5 LPA.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: There are 90% placements for our batch, and 85 % of our seniors got placed. There are more than 150 companies that visit our college for placements. We have classifications like regular, dream, super dream. The companies with the package of below 3 LPA come under regular, the companies with the package of below 7 LPA come under dream, and the package with above 7 LPA come under super dream. The maximum package is around 24 LPA, and the minimum would be around 2 LPA. We shouldn't have any arrear...

Good college if everything goes perfect.

Placements: There are only a few companies that come here in Chennai campus, many companies come to Vellore campus, so we have to go there to attend the placements. 90 percent of my seniors got placements with an average salary package of around 3.5 LPA. The highest was around 18 LPA.

It is a campus with good infrastructure and exposure.

Placements: As I am a civil engineering student, the core placements are comparatively less when compared with the CSE or ECE branches. If the students are okay with the IT company rather than waiting for a core job VIT provides you many ways to get into the company. The only thing that the student should not have is running backlogs.

The review of lifestyle, campus, and placements in VIT Chennai.

Placements: The placements are good in the college. Many got dream package and internship in multinational companies like L&T, TATA etc. Overall, the placement of civil branch in core companies is less. But student gets placement in marketing and IT companies with an average package (4lac pa).

Good infrastructure and nice placements.

Placements: Placements are very good in the college as many companies came. Many of our seniors got placed in good companies. Recently, there was an internship drive event, in which many startup companies came. Many of us got an internship in different companies, and many companies visited both the Vellore and Chennai campus.

The college has a good infrastructure, faculty members and excellent placements.

Placements: The placement percentage was quite good as most of the students got placed. Many companies came to the college, and the students were offered an ample chance to portray their talent, though the companies for the branches like mechanical and civil were a bit less than other branches.

Great placement offers along with a few knowledgeable faculty.

Placements: The placement for the current 4th-year students has been very good. Most of the students are already placed and of which 60-65% are placed in core/consultancy companies. Even if you are not a good student, VIT will get you placed in some company or the other and if you can get yourself settled under mass recruiters then you will surely get placed.

I rate my college as one of the good colleges where you can to do your B.Tech.

Placements: There are excellent placements for the final year students. About 90% of the final year students were placed on the campus. The lowest package was around Rs. 3 LPA and the highest was around Rs. 18 LPA. The companies like the CTS, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc., have visited the campus. Almost everyone got an internship from the college with an average stipend of Rs. 3,000 to 4,000.

About my beautiful college VIT University - Chennai campus.

Placements: As far as I know, 50 were placed out of 120 students from my senior batch. But I'm not sure about that as none was placed in core companies. All were placed in either call center or some other companies. So, I don't know about placements and stuff. The given data was told by one of the faculty members.

In 2 years, I have seen the bad and good faculty.

Placements: There will be no 100% placements in this college, and it is all fake that the students pursue here will get a job. The highest package for my senior batch is 24 lakhs per annum, and the least is 3 lakhs per annum. Many companies are coming to our college like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, etc. Around 50% of the students got the internship.

A good place to have a research oriented career.

Placements: A lot of companies including Amazon, Microsoft and PayPal have visited our college this year offering different roles. If we look at the number of students placed in companies, I can say that the percentage is very good. The highest salary offered til now is approximately 25 lakhs CTC. The lowest would be around 3 lakhs CTC. Many students have got the 6 months internships from the college through placements. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 50,000, while the lowest stipend offered, was Rs. 10...

A good place to study where you have all the facilities.

Placements: Good for circuit branches especially who are interested in the field of computer and electronic engineering. All famous MNC come for placements with good package. All renowned companies select based on the project as well as based on their talent.

Placements: While most of the students in college got placed in IT companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, etc., with an average salary package of about Rs. 3.5-4 lakhs, most of the good students got placed in different companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon with package above Rs.10 lakhs. As far I know, the highest package in our campus is around Rs. 24 lakhs. Decent college but not that great.

Placements: The placement activity in the college is satisfactory. There is an extensive training in the placement process with a particular focus on the areas that the companies are interested in a candidate. The placements in the core companies are limited to 10-15 from a batch maximum, but almost all the students enrolled for placement activities and got placed in analytics or IT companies. Overall from the placement point of view, the college is decent.

Platform to learn and build yourself to earn.

Placements: The placement record in our branch is decent in core sector, whereas in IT sector, it is excellent but concerning the core, it is below average. I think in the near future, the progress will happen and things will change in all the perspective either relating to academics or the placements. More than 80 percent of the student gets placed, and the average is Rs. 5 to 6 lakhs per annum offered by the visiting company. Placements: I really don't know much about placements. But 100% placement is there on this campus. One of my seniors got 30 lakhs per annum. There is a very good atmosphere here for placement. Almost all companies from all streams give opportunities to the students of our campus.
