VIT BCom course admission is merit-based. Hence, the candidates performance in the last qualifying examination is taken into consideration. Thus, the aspirants are not required to appear for any entrance examination for selection. However, it is important that the students meet the course-specific eligibility requirements. The minimum eligibility requirement is Class 12 pass with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/other categories/state students).

VITEEE 2025 exam dates have been announced. The authorities will conduct VITEEE 2025 tentatively from April 21 to 27, 2025. The candidates will have to select their preferred slot. VITEEE 2025 application form has to be submitted before the final date for the eligible candidates to be registered for the examination. VIT 2025 will be held as a computer-based test.

Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent) from a recognised board to apply for the BTech course. • Candidates having Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry in Class 12 only are eligible for all the BTech
• Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology and English for admission to BTech Biotechnology, CSE Bioinformatics and ECE Biomedical Engineering.

Vellore Institute of Technology has announced the VITMEE 2025 exam dates on the official website. VITMEE exam dates is available along with the official brochure. Admission to VIT BTech course is based on VITEEE score, followed by a counselling round. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology every year for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BTech) of participating institutes. Every year, VITEEE is held to get students enrolled in various undergraduate courses. VIT also considers the eligibility of the aspirants for final admission. After completion of the selection rounds, the institute releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. Vellore Institute of Technology offers 66 UG, 58 PG, 15 integrated and two each of Research and M.Tech (Industrial) courses across multiple streams.
