Vellore Institute of Technology offers 66 UG, 58 PG, 15 integrated and two each of Research and M.Tech (Industrial) courses across multiple streams. VITEEE 2025 exam dates have been announced. The authorities will conduct VITEEE 2025 tentatively from April 21 to 27, 2025. The candidates will have to select their preferred slot. VITEEE 2025 application form has to be submitted before the final date for the eligible candidates to be registered for the examination. VIT 2025 will be held as a computer-based test.

Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent) from a recognised board to apply for the BTech course. • Candidates having Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry in Class 12 only are eligible for all the BTech
• Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology and English for admission to BTech Biotechnology, CSE Bioinformatics and ECE Biomedical Engineering.

It has been observed that the fee for various courses at VIT Vellore ranges from INR 1.2 lakh to INR 14.25 lakh depending upon the course selected by the candidate and the duration. The fees for the BTech course at VIT Vellore range between INR 4.9 lakh - INR 7.8 lakh which is not much if we compare it with other private universities. The entrance exam accepted for VIT BTech admissions is VITEEE. The fee for MBA at VIT Vellore is INR 7 lakh which is also not much. MBA is offered for a duration of two years. The eligibility criteria for MBA is a bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate and the accepted entrance exam are MAT,  XAT,  CAT,  CMAT,  CMAT,  ATMA,  VITBEE, and others. It is suggested that the candidates must pay the course fee on time as extra charges may apply in case of late fee submission. Admission to BTech course is based on VITEEE score. VITEEE is a computer-based test conducted for a duration of 2 hour 30 minutes. The paper, includes five sections, namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English and, includes a total of 125 questions. The difficulty level of the VITEEE exam is moderate compared to other national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Students, who prepare for JEE Main exam, usually find it easier to crack VITEEE, as this exam does not have any negative marking. However, the syllabus of the VITEEE exam varies every year.
