MBBS in MMCH (Midnapore Medical College And Hospital).
Placements: It is not an engineering course but a medical course. Everyone who studies MBBS gets an individual chance to earn money so there is no yearly salary package. If there is a salary package it depends on the hospital that you get in. The minimum salary package offered is 12 LPA to 25 LPA. Every student gets a chance to do an internship and housestaffship, if interested.
Infrastructure: There are a total of 19 departments and every department is well built and arranged. Wi-Fi is available in all departments and library is available for everyone who has library cars. Hostels available for boys and girls seperate. There is a canteen in every hostel which provide food which is sufficient for every student. The food is not that good but can be eaten. As it is a medical college medical facilities are available 24 hours. Talking about sports in games everything is done early in sports and culture programs.
Faculty: There are sufficient teachers available in every department. They are very friendly, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. There is a semester in every 3 months and a final proof exam every year which helps students to be promoted to the next year.

Good infrastructure but there is no placement facility in the college .
Placements: No placement facility is there in the college. There is no place meant facility. None has come to recruit us. If they look. Through LinkedIn and others they find one but the college itself doesn't take any initiative to give us internship the roles actually depends upon the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, with proper fans and lighting, but some of them are not maintained. The library is well-equipped with lots of books, and I don't know about the entire college, but our department has a separate Wi-Fi connection, and the canteen has been closed. I don't know why.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and experienced. The teaching quality is quite good. The college does have a system for industrial training, and maybe they are going to build one. The semester exams don't happen at this college; we have to go to another college to give them. The pass percentage is 30 percent.
Other: I was quite interested in the subject, which is why. I get to know about the different aspects of geography, and it helps me understand the world better. I would like to place more emphasis on the internship part and field or practical work. A scholarship is available.

Absolutely satisfied with college with a beautiful campus.
Placements: Our college places almost all of its students. After passing the final year examination, students are required to complete a one-year internship for which they receive a stipend of around 30,000 rupees. Most students choose to pursue higher studies by taking the NEET PG exam. Some students choose to do a residency, which pays a salary of 50,000 rupees.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good, with air conditioned lecture theatres and a big central library with a huge collection of books. Wi-Fi is available in the academic areas. The hostel condition is not so good and needs renovation. The hostel mess food is good, and there is also the option of private mess in and around the campus. All medical facilities are available. There is a big playground on campus that hosts many events.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects, and they have years of teaching experience. The teaching is practical-based and very interactive. The course curriculum is very relevant to the course and helps students get ready to tackle real-world problems. There is an annual professional exam with intermediate difficulty, and almost 90% of students pass the exams. The curriculum is in compliance with NMC guidelines.
Other: The annual academic festival at my college is called NUMESCON. The annual cultural festival is called PLASMA.

Yes, I am absolutely satisfied.
Placements: There is a compulsory internship for all students after passing the final year exam for 1 year with a stipend of 30,000 rupees. Most of the students opt for a higher degree course by giving the PG exam. Many of them do house-staffs with a salary of 50,000 rupees.
Infrastructure: We have a central library open from 9 am to 8 pm. Lab facilities are also good. Hostel supplies like the canteen and water supply are all good. All types of curricular activities are also provided apart from studies. Bathrooms are well-furnished with Indian and commode-type toilets and are regularly cleaned by PWD workers.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful. Almost all are MD degree-certified in different courses. Yes, this course is really relevant. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate and sometimes easy. Our teachers also take doubt classes. Both practical and theory classes are very helpful.
Other: I chose this course because I want to serve people and become a successful doctor. I'm fully satisfied with the provided facilities at my college.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Haldia Institute of Dental Sciences and Research

An honest review by an existing student.
Placements: There's no such placements in a dental/medical college. This college will provide you all the means to home your handiwork skills. The facilities will be approachable and even the Principal. This is an absolute no-ragging zone. The patient load is ample considering it's a private college. The only drawback is the stipend which is too low compared to the other government colleges.
Infrastructure: The course is of 4 years. Some MBBS subjects are taught in the adjacent sister college of ICARE institute of medical sciences and research. There's then a compulsory rotatory internship of 12 months in the same college as well. The hostel facility is also good.
Faculty: There are 3 exams held in a course(except the final year which has 2 exams). A student has to buy his or her own instruments and materials though. Except in the final year (and now, the third too) where students get exposure to patients. The campus is small. There's no auditorium in the campus. There are numerous eateries just outside the campus border. There's luscious greenery and river flowing just behind the campus.
