KIIT provides hostel facilities to all the interested students & the rooms are allotted on the day of reporting itself. There are separate hostels for boys and girls and all these hostels are situated within the university campus. All the boy’s hostels are named KP’s (King’s Palace) and the girls' hostels as QC’s (Queen’s Castle). You can choose whether you need a double sharing or triple sharing room with or without AC. Also, if you want to switch from non-AC to AC or vice-versa, you can submit the request for the same at the end of the first year. Almost all the first-year boys are generally allotted KP-7.

Facilities in KIIT Hostels

- All the boys' & girls' hostels are equipped with round-the-clock internet connectivity which can be availed using the ID & Password provided.

- All the hostels have attached mess & dining facilities which can accommodate a good number of students.

- All the hostels have separate reading rooms that students can use for studying or group discussions.

- Hostels are changed after the completion of the first year.

- Food and Mess facilities: There is a proper menu followed by all the kitchens. And you can eat veg or non-veg food as per your choice and suitability. This menu is revised/changed every four to five months by the hostel administration and the quality of the food provided is also decent. On all the special occasions such as Diwali, Basant Panchami, Holi, Republic days, etc. all the hostels have a special menu arranged by the administration, which is better than normal days.
