The NTA conducted the JEE Main 2024 paper 2 Session 2 exam on April 12 and the session 1 exam on January 24. The result of session 1 (January) was announced on March 6. JEE Main Result 2024 Paper 2 Highlights
- NTA will not send any hard copy of JEE Main result paper 2 or rank card by post and candidates can download their result through their JEE Main 2024 applicant account only
- The JEE Main result 2024 mentions compiled scores of session 1 (if candidates appeared for both sessions). This means NTA will consider the best of raw scores for JEE Main from both attempts to prepare JEE Main Merit List 2024

The rank list of JEE Main 2024 paper 2 will be prepared by considering the best of two scores. For candidates who will appear in both January and April sessions, their rank list will be prepared by taking the highest score of two attempts while for candidates who have appeared only in one attempt, their rank list will be prepared taking the score of that particular attempt.
