Very good in terms of course and extracurricular.
Placements: We had around 40 students for the course as it was a Bachelor's degree in History. The college does not offer any specific recruitment, but campus placements from TCS and Cognizant were offered to all students from all degree courses. Other than that, career counseling is provided through seminars and conferences, and research guides are also offered.
Infrastructure: There is open Wi-Fi available in the college. As it is a government and heritage college, a lot of the infrastructure is old, but new buildings and wings have been constructed. There is a newly constructed auditorium and common room. Gym facilities are also available. There is a general library, and subject-specific books are available in the classroom library. The canteen is there, but the bathroom quality is not up to the mark.
Faculty: All the teachers are Ph.D. holders or are pursuing their doctorates. They have years of experience and are equipped with knowledge. All the teachers' information and qualifications can be researched through the college's official website. The course content is relevant, and regular discussions, internals, and assignments are conducted. More than 50 percent of students get first class.
Other: The college also conducts its annual fest, AALAP, every year in December. Other than that, there are annual sports events, an annual function, celebration of Bethune Day, and a prize distribution ceremony. Seminars, talks, workshops, and conferences are held regularly. A computer course by WEBEL is provided. There is inter and intra-fest participation as well.
