Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

A genuine review about JNTUH.
Placements: Almost 95% of students from our branch got placed. The highest salary package offered is 52 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Oracle, etc., visited the college for placements. About 80% of students from our course got an internship in companies like Amazon and Oracle.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the college is quite good. In our department, Wi-Fi is available in every classroom, and labs are neatly maintained. There are two libraries in our college, which is a good thing for students. In the hostel, the food served is very good. There is an indoor stadium for students to play.
Faculty: Teachers are good in behavior but their teaching way is not too good for one or two teachers. They are highly qualified, but students cannot understand what they are teaching. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite hard in JNTUH, and the pass percentage is about 40%.

It was best college in our state according to NIRF.
Placements: In total, nearly 50-60 percent of students are placed in multinational companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. The highest package of our college is 52 lakh per annum, and the lowest package is 4 lakh per annum. The roles offered by the companies are based on their chosen course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and the best compared to other colleges. Our college also provides the best facilities like Wi-Fi and others, etc. The quality of food in our hostels is average and not good at all. It provides more facilities like medical and sports, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful with our research. The teachers and faculty are very qualified and specialized, etc. The quality was so good and very good in all aspects. The difficulty of our exams was very tough, and it was more difficult to solve problems.
Other: The best thing about our course was very innovative, and the best things in our course were better and best. The events in my college were functional based on our college calendar. Our college was mainly linked to government aspects. It was the best college in our state according to NIRF.

Jntu has provided many opportunities to enhance skills.
Placements: So far, about 80% of the students in my course have been placed. The highest package was 24 LPA, the average was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruiting company was Goldman Sachs. My college also offered some machine learning and other roles.
Infrastructure: The hostel food is nice, and the sports and games are good. They conduct sports regularly and encourage the students by giving rewards and gifts. On the negative side, there is much to improve, such as the Wi-Fi and computers, which need to be updated. Also, the library is good enough, but the quality of the hostel food is not as good as we expected.
Faculty: The faculty may teach us what is in the book, but we don't get much knowledge from that. We must explore things on our own, and the faculty is not good enough to help us do that. The curriculum is quite nice, though, and if we follow it, we may be ready for the fourth year. The semester exams are much more difficult, as it is JNTUH, and the pass percentage is about 75%.
Other: I am interested in computer science, so I chose to study it. I think coding is very interesting, and it is the best thing about the course. However, the computers in our labs need to be improved and updated. Also, we don't have enough funds to conduct events, so only a few events are held each year.

The college was excellent.
Placements: Some of the people are placed in the MNCs like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. The highest package was 52 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 4 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are MNCs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students got internships in other product-based companies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was good and best of all. In our JNTUH campus, we provide Wi-Fi and the best classrooms, etc. The hostel room was not good. Outside hostels are better than our college hostels when compared. But our college night view was the best and most experienced.
Faculty: Teachers are also known as faculty who provide the best knowledge and other circular activities like conducting seminars and quizzes, etc. Yes, the course was relevant. We are very happy about that, providing basic needs and so much of experienced teachers.
Other: The course, which has high job opportunities, and I was very enthusiastic about the subjects as well as knowledge. Through the YouTube video, I learn so much knowledge to get a seat in this college. The events are organized for every festival and fest.

Good and 100% placements in this college.
Placements: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad is maintaining a good placement record every year. The institute is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2021 and three students of Computer Science engineering received the offers from Microsoft for the highest CTC of INR 41 LPA.
Infrastructure: Most hostels offer basic amenities such as furnished rooms, dining halls, study areas, and recreational facilities. However, the quality of these facilities can vary between different hostels. And free wifi is provided to the hostels and washing machines are provided to wash the clothes.
Faculty: College on paper moral is good and enough funding is there to be a top College, but I felt that people who run the College are not interested in actual development of students, they have a feeling that they are so important. But in my opinion an engineer will do engineering things first and then come to teaching. There are only few faculties.
