Overall, the college is better for placements.
Placements: Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Microsoft, JPMC, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, and Electronic Arts hire freshers every year with a minimum package of 20 LPA. Companies recruit every branch's students. The placement percentage of this year is 85%.
Infrastructure: Facilities are amazing on the campus. The campus is very cool with the greenery. There is a good canteen and a very good hostel. Overall the college is very good in terms of infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. The course is very good. The curriculum includes emerging technologies. Semester exams are very difficult. There is an attractive competition among students. There is a semester with 16 weeks including exams. Faculty members are very talented. They are very good.
Other: CSE in CBIT is equivalent to CSE in NIT. The course is very good. Hackathons, fests, and contests improve my skills. There is Sputhi Fest every year.

Really good placements and teaching quality.
Placements: This year the placements are good, and many talented people got placed in big companies with good PPO. Many companies like Deloitte, RealPage, IBM, and etc. have come to the college. There are mass-hiring companies like Accenture that have also come. Students got placed in it. Here we have the 1.5x rule for students, which is really helpful for other students to be placed. And it is applicable only to students who got placed.
Infrastructure: Library facilities are good compared to other colleges. CBIT offers good library facilities. The food provided in the college canteen was good, but there are fewer food items. There is a separate department for games and sports. In the first year, they will teach you yoga, Zumba, and similar tasks. Every year, you will have a sports period to encourage students to participate in games.
Faculty: The teaching is excellent, and teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. I should rate the teaching quality 4 out of 5. This course is really helpful for students who want to pursue cybersecurity. The semester exams are medium, and students with good knowledge can crack them.
Other: I am very interested in cybersecurity, so I chose this course. The lab equipment is limited, and I think they should improve it. At CBIT, every year we have Shruti, and all students will participate in it. Students can get 6000 as their scholarship every year. It is provided by the Telangana government.

Really a good course in Andhra.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided are Wi-Fi on campus, and more extra classes are taken at our college. Classrooms are large, and high library facilities provide more books and resources for internal and external exams. Hostel is good for good food in the mess and the best facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are more supportive of all students in the classroom; they motivate them to achieve more. They teach well about the subjects. Our teachers are well qualified, and they have more knowledge of our subjects. The passing percent is impressive; 56% of students passed our course.

Strong placements, and vibrant campus life.
Placements: I am from the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at CBIT, and my batch graduated in 2024. Around 85% of students in our course secured placements, reflecting a strong placement record. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The ECE department at CBIT offers well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a vast library with relevant resources. Hostels provide clean rooms, medical care, sports facilities, and quality food in the mess and canteen, fostering a comfortable learning environment.
Faculty: Teachers in the ECE department are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring effective teaching quality. The course curriculum is industry-relevant, focusing on core and emerging fields. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 85%-90%.
Other: I chose ECE for its blend of hardware and software knowledge, offering diverse career paths. The best aspects include industry-relevant labs and strong placement opportunities. Improvements could focus on updated tools and more practical exposure. CBIT hosts vibrant fests, has an active campus crowd, good connectivity, scholarships, and supports extracurriculars like sports and teach clubs, creating a well-rounded student life.

Good placements in 2021 and 2022.
Placements: Placements in biotechnology are very low compared to other branches. Most of the students are placed in Cognizant, Accenture, etc. In terms of biotechnology, they are placed in Dr. Reddy Labs. The average placement offered is 3-4 LPA and the same for the software side.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available at the college. The library contains tons of books with different authors. It is well-maintained and very resourceful. Medical facilities are good. Sports and extracurricular activities are very good. Canteen food is not that great, to be honest.
Faculty: The first year was very easy compared to others. The actual core subjects start in the second year, like biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, microbiology, principles and processes of engineering. The third semester is very hard and requires a lot of effort, but the labs are efficient.
