B.E. in Civil Engineering (Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2022
Offered by Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology
2.8
2Placements1Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
The campus needs to be changed.
Placements: Placements in the civil branch are not very good compared to other streams. The salary package offered in the civil department up to 3.5 LPA, but there are no top recruiting companies in this line. About 65% of the students from the batch will be qualified, but only 15 to 20% of the students get jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very poor, and if it is subjected to any eathquake or heavy rainfall, then the structure may collapse soon. Moreover, the benches and stools provided here are broken. There is no lecture stand. During rainfall, the college looks like a swimming pool.
Faculty: Faculty members here are good, and they help us a lot. At any time, you can approach them for clearing your doubts and queries. The relation between students and teachers is friendly. I don't like the course curriculum. It doesn't make many effects on us as we are subjected only to spoon-feeding.
Other: I have chosen this course because this course has a lot of job opportunities compared to other streams. The best thing about this course is that you can have fun as the course is related to the outside world, but not just books. I wish that teaching way should be improved. Our college doesn't support other activities. Our college organises only one fest and other sports competitions and other activities.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
