CIT Coimbatore offers a full-time MTech course. The duration of the course is two years divided into four semesters. Available across five specialisations, CIT Coimbatore MTech admission is subject to a valid score obtained by the students in the CEETA PG exam conducted by DOTE Chennai. Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST following the rules of reservation laid down by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

CIT Coimbatore offers ME in nine specialisations, namely Computer Science & Engineering, Heat Power Engineering, Applied Electronics, Communication Engineering, Environmental Engineering & Management, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Construction Management, Computer Methods & Application in Structural Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing Technology.
