"Comprehensive journey of Economics Honours student at Daulat Ram College.
Placements: The placement rate for Economics Honours students at Daulat Ram College is around 60-80%, with salary packages ranging from ?4-15 LPA. Top recruiters include consulting firms like Deloitte and KPMG, and financial giants like Goldman Sachs. Around 50-70% of students secure internships, often with major firms or research organizations. Common roles include business analyst, financial analyst, and consultant. For the most accurate data, the placement cell is the best resource.
Infrastructure: Economics Honours students at Daulat Ram College have access to a range of facilities to support their academic and extracurricular activities. The college offers Wi-Fi throughout the campus, well-equipped classrooms, and labs for research and data analysis. The library is stocked with a wide range of economics-related books, journals, and digital resources. Hostel facilities are generally comfortable, with basic amenities, although the quality can vary. The food in the mess and canteen is considered average, offering a variety of options. Medical facilities are available on campus with basic care and first aid. For sports and games, the college has sports grounds and facilities for various outdoor and indoor activities.
Faculty: The teachers at Daulat Ram College are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, with good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant but could be more industry-focused to enhance practical skills. The semester exams are challenging but manageable for well-prepared students, and the pass percentage is generally good.

Review of Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi.
Placements: About 60% of students get placed. Package offered is quite decent, average, and the highest package offered stands at 5 LPA and 11 LPA respectively. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, DEShaw, etc. 80% of the students are enrolled in internships and roles offered are data analyst, market analyst, and researchers.
Infrastructure: There's a minor trouble regarding network in college campus, but due to availability of Wi-Fi in library, it is not an issue. Lots of students who migrated from other states prefer PG over hostel due to non-availability of facilities in college hostel. Food available in the college canteen is pretty average, and students prefer eating outside the college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and the curriculum is improved by NEP, providing students with better insights into the course and helping implement theory with real-world problems. Also, NEP introduces skill enhancement courses that make students job-ready. Semester exams are average in terms of difficulty level, but due to the burden of 7 subjects a semester in a limited period of time, it makes it a bit difficult to cover everything that a course can provide.
Other: The best thing about studying economics is being able to study deeply how our economy works, i.e., markets, sellers, and determination of prices. It could have been better if we were taught about the core economics subjects in detail, but due to a limited period of time, teachers are always in a rush to finish the syllabus rather than building an interest for students to learn the subject. College life other than academics is quite fun and happening; there are 15+ societies and 5+ cells to join, and they always come up with something interesting for the students to participate in.

The highest, the lowest, and Average Packages the highest Package: ?25 LPA (Lacs Per Annum) the lowest Package: ?3.5 LPA Average Package: ?8 LPA Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, TCS, Infosys, Accenture 4. Internship Statistics 60% of students secured internships through the course. Internship Companies: Unilever, Reliance, Wipro, Tata Steel, Flipkart.
Infrastructure: The food taste nice there also there is a juice shop which serves fresh juice overall you can eat there plus if you want to take your friends there you can buy the service team is slow there quality of food is average. The food was nice but it requires some .
Faculty: Most students find the teachers highly qualified and experienced, with expertise in their respective fields. Teaching quality is rated excellent due to a mix of interactive lectures, real-world examples, and practical applications. 2. Is this course curriculum relevant? Does it make the students industry-ready? The curriculum is regularly updated to align with industry trends and needs. Hands-on projects, internships, and case studies are integrated into the syllabus to ensure industry readiness.

Satisfied with my college because of its faculty members and placements.
Placements: For 2023-24 recruitment, the highest salary package offered was 23.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6.47 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, PWC, Accenture, Wipro, Metvy, etc. The highest stipend for internships is Rs 40,000 per month. The average stipend is Rs 13,000 per month.
Infrastructure: It has decent infrastructure but also has some limitations. Only 5-6 rooms are equipped with air-conditioners, but most classrooms lack this facility. Library is spacious and offers Wi-Fi for students. Many classrooms are small due to which students have to find empty rooms for tutorial classes.
Faculty: It stands out for its well-structured academic approach and supportive faculty members. The SEC courses offered are relevant and practical. It provides hands-on experience which enhances learning beyond textbooks. Semester exams are not that challenging but require consistent efforts. Teachers are very helpful even during exams as they also conduct online classes during exam season to clear doubts.
