Well educated and brilliant faculty; it definitely should come in the top 10 colleges of DU.
Placements: I am not sure about the placements, but the top recruiting companies are the Big Four, Red Bull, and HDFC. Around sixty percent of students got internships through the college; I don’t know about the companies, though. The top roles offered are risk management consultants and business analysts.
Infrastructure: The college doesn’t have hostels; classrooms and the library are okay. The quality of the food in the canteen is pretty good, and they practice proper hygiene. I don’t know much about sports and games, but the current basketball team is really talented. The college is getting renovated, so the infrastructure is going to improve very soon.
Faculty: The economics and statistics faculty at DCAC offers an exceptional learning experience, blending in-depth theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Their dedication to nurturing analytical thinking sets students apart. With its holistic curriculum, DCAC's economics honors deserves a top 10 spot.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the college and university because of the poor infrastructure.
Placements: DCAC is not that good with placements; almost 40–60% of students get placed. The highest package is around 7 LPA, and the average package is around 3 LPA. The top companies are KPMG and MAHINDRA. Internships are not provided by colleges; students have to find internships on their own.
Infrastructure: DCAC's main problem is its infrastructure. It has only two buildings, and most of the departments are in the old building, which is just three floors. The department doesn't have its own department space. The course has Wi-Fi accessibility, but it's average Wi-Fi, and the lab doesn't have good, efficient computers. DCAC doesn't have its own hostel, but ARD is a hostel that is located near DCAC and is in very good shape.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, very experienced, and highly qualified, and the curriculum is relevant. They make the industry ready and give practical as well as theoretical knowledge, which is very beneficial for the course. Semester exams are moderately difficult.
Other: The passing batch is 2021. The course is very nice and has good scope in the future. That's why I have taken this course. The best thing about this course is that it is in high demand. This course can have more practical aspects, regardless of the theoretical.

Satisfied with the faculty, but infra should be improved.
Placements: Since I am a 1st-year student, I can speak about the internships and not the placements. Many companies came to our college for summer internships, and many students got selected too. Packages are not too high as per data, but yes, many students still take college placements.
Infrastructure: This college does not provide hostel facilities. There is no Wi-Fi, no proper infrastructure for our department. Only 4-5 classes are allotted to our department, including the department office. The quality of food in the canteen is above average and offers a variety of foods.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified. Their teaching style is very good. They are also very helpful. Our course curriculum is very relevant to the society's needs. The semester exams are really very difficult. The questions were entirely different from past years.
Other: I chose this course because I liked studying economics since 11th class. Also, I was very much interested in Maths, so that's why I opted for this course. The books are too much based on the US problems. They should add books with India and ₹ as basic values.

I'm dissatisfied with the college infrastructure.
Placements: Placements at our college are average and you need to follow placement cell groups on social media for updates. Placements are in online mode. The average salary package is 7 LPA, the lowest salary package is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package is 15 LPA. Most of us got roles like economic advisers and research wing associates.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very bad. Our classroom doesn't have enough chairs and tables, as well as bad ceiling conditions and no air conditioning. The library is very good, and the playground is also not that good and small in size. There is no gym equipment in the gym and no proper canteen.
Faculty: The faculty is very good at knowledge and are very helpful if you listen to them well. As well, a lack of faculty staff caused us to take only limited optional papers, and it caused some professors to teach two papers at a time. The exam centre is self-contained but strict. You'll get an exam schedule long before the exams and have enough time to prepare.
Other: Our course is very good and informative, very helpful for those who really want to settle down in economics background. Our curriculum includes statistics and maths, along with econometrics. It's better to study right from day one. If not, it's hard to clear the exams.

It's a decent college. The faculty members are very helpful.
Placements: Our college has placement cell which provides students internship facilities from 1st year itself. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. The recruiting companies for my course are KPMG, EY, and others. The percentage of students who got internships from my course is 30 percent.
Infrastructure: Our college is small but facilities available are good. DCAC New Delhi library also provides OPAC facility within the college campus. The 4 computer labs on the campus are well-designed and equipped with printers scanners, desktops, laptops, serves, and LCD projectors of the latest configurations. The college campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel is not available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and hardworking. It depends on their delivery of information, some are excellent while some are average. Some courses are quite relevant like Economic Honours, B.Com Honours, Journalism etc. The semesters are quite hard. Earlier the passing percentage was 40 percentage, now it changed to 60 percentage.
Other: I love Economic as a subject and it is quite demanding as per current scenario. Our course has too much theory, it can be more practical. College fest is held once in a year. The campus crowd is decent.

Hi Neeraj, Everyone who has scored above 60% marks in class 12th are eligible to get admission in Delhi University. However, the cut offs goes high generally creating problems for low scorers. Yes, you can get economics without mathematics. Apply for DU and wait for the cutoff declaration.
