It is a good college but not for placements.
Placements: The placements are not much satisfying as not many students get placed. Students should approach the companies individually with the help of the teachers' references. The companies coming to campus offer the role of quality officer, production officer, shift manager etc. Packages offered are 2.5 to 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are very big hostels for both boys and girls, very close to the college building. The food quality is acceptable, and hygiene is maintained, but a low variety of food is provided. The library, with a reading room, is available 24*7. The university library access is given to students.
Faculty: The teachers are quite good at their subjects and are helpful to students at any time. They guide us very well in mini projects and major projects. The students can also work with teachers on their projects and get a stipend for their work.
Other: The campus crowd is diverse. There are plenty of sports facilities available for students. Students can earn and learn here. Every year, a techfest, sports, and all special days are celebrated on campus. Foreign language is also taught on campus.

It is an autonomous college and is quite good.
Placements: The placement rate in our college is about 50%, and the remaining students prefer to complete their postgraduation or enrol in their family business. Companies like Star, Gokul, etc., visit our college for placements. Jobs offered here are production in-charge or quality officer or shift engineer. The average salary package offered is about 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very good infrastructure and is situated in a very beautiful and silent area surrounded by trees and a pond on one side. The hostel facility is also good with a mess which serves acceptable food but has a low variety of food items. Hostel and mess charges are very low. There is a huge central library with a 24x7 reading hall facility.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members here have completed their PhD and are quite good at teaching. The teaching is also provided with regular industrial visits. Overall, the knowledge provided is industry-related. The curriculum consists of an internship at the end of every semester after you join your stream, which helps to build students.
Other: The most important point is that the college is run by the university, so all the facilities available can be used by the students. For all events organised in the university, students of our college are invited to participate. Our college also organises guest lectures every week and tech fest and sports meet every year. Students are supported in conducting various activities in the college.

Department of Technology, SUK from final year food technology student's point of view.
Placements: In my course, i.e., B.Tech food technology, we have 100% placement, where students get placed in good companies like Amul, Gokul, FSSAI, Gadre Marine, etc. The average package is around 7 L per year. Top recruiting companies would be all food industries, covering all sectors like Nestled, Amul, ITC, etc. We have internships twice compulsory during the course, whereas students are placed in good companies, and there is good feedback from companies regarding students and their skills.
Infrastructure: We have free WiFi in our college for every student for educational purposes only. Lab classrooms are spacious and clean. Hostel facilities are okay, and food is okay too. We do have good, free-of-cost medical facilities for students in university, and there is a lot of scope and appreciation for sports and cultural activities. The labs are a little outdated; the machinery needs an update.
Faculty: Faculty staff is good and helpful if you are curious. The curriculum is relevant but needs a little update. Semester exams are easy if lectures are attended by students regularly; otherwise, they are extremely difficult. Teaching quality is very good. Exams are held every six months by the university. Pattern is practical and relevant.
Other: The best thing about my course is that it is undying. There are a lot of options to pursue and a lot of scope. If you don't get good jobs, you can open your own business.

Our college has good infrastructure and location.
Placements: None of the students got placed through college placement. They only provided internship opportunities in Parle Agro every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average. Lab were not maintained and not all equipment was working properly. Hostel was not maintained. Toilet and bathroom had no door and the water was dirty for bathing as well as for drinking.
Faculty: Faculty members of our branch were not supportive. We had the same teachers for 2-3 subjects. Exams held were strict, and the pass percentage was 40 marks.

A bit dissatisfied about faculty, but the infrastructure is partially good.
Placements: B.Tech food technology is the best course for building a career. But there is a lack of placements. The highest package offered in our batch is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 84,000 per annum. There was a company called Parle Agro, which used to come to our college every year, take interviews and select 14-18 students from B.Tech and M.Tech for internships of 2 months. This help us a lot in gaining industrial knowledge. After passing out in 2019, nearly about 10% of students from our batch got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms and labs are good. The library has Wi-Fi and all the required books. I was a local student, so I didn't opt for a hostel. But I visited there a lot of times. Hence as per my opinion, the hostel facility is average. There should be proper water facilities, and cleaned washrooms is a must.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and have good knowledge of basic food technology. Students are not able to gain proper industrial knowledge. Semester exams were a little difficult for some subjects. The difficulty level depends on the subjects.
Other: I chose food technology because I thought that this branch is different from other engineering branches, and it will help me build a good career.
