Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Classrooms are good with a good view of the sea and a pleasant atmosphere.
Placements: Around 90 percent of the eligible students were placed in the Information technology batch of 2019-2020. The highest package was offered by a Japanese company Shazartec which offered a CTC of 24 Ipa. The lowest package was offered by Zycus 3 LPA. Top recruiters include Sharatec, UBS, ZS, IB, Deloitte, TIAA, TCS, LTI, Capgemini etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the IT department is good. Free Wi-Fi or internet connectivity is provided in labs. Necessary software according to the curriculum is installed in all labs. Classrooms are good with a good view of the sea and a pleasant atmosphere. The college supports extracurricular activities like sports, cultural events. Canteen is average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive. They help us in all the ways possible. The minimum qualification of teachers are B.Tech and maximum is Ph.D. Quality of teaching is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready.

It is a good college with average infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed. Software engineer roles are offered to the students, but there are no internships. Accenture, TCS are mass recruiters mainly. The salary package offered is not very good. Placements don't depend on the college, and students have to work hard on their own.
Infrastructure: Quality of facilities is good, clean and neat. Canteen is not impressive, and the quality of food is bad. There is a good sports ground. The library is small, but it is good. However, there are no air-conditioners, which is bad. There are fewer lifts, which causes a lot of problems. There is no Wi-Fi, and students use their own. Classrooms are average with an old-style building.
Faculty: Teachers here are good and helpful, but they are very strict. Almost 75% of attendance is must here. Students have to be prepared to come in defaulters list and get severe punishments, like sit for extra classes, write extra assignments, etc. The course is not at all industry-relevant, so students have to study hard on their own.
Other: It is an average course, and there is nothing great about it. BE is a useless degree. Many things needed to be improved, and the course forces you to rote learning. Students mug up big textbooks and reproduce in exams.

Excellent placements, good faculty members, great location. Great in it's own way!
Placements: Training and placement cell of college is the main highlight. Each and every student is trained very well for placements. Every year 30+ companies visits campus which provides a great platform to every student to get a job in a good company. Students can get internship from college as well as from outside. I got selected for internship in Tata Consultancy Services and there was no stipend.
Infrastructure: The location of college is the best thing about college infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available for students but the speed is very low. Classrooms are spacious and labs are equipped with all the necessary materials available for lab practicals. There is a basketball court in the campus but no proper playground. Canteen is not good at all and the food quality is very bad. It can be a reason that someone would not even recommend this college. Hostel rooms are good, clean and spacious.
Faculty: Maximum of the faculty members are Ph.D. and rest are M.E. In their respective fields. Each and everyone is the master of their own field and are very much interested to teach as well as help students. HOD keeps a keen eye on the progress of each and every student. Course curriculum is followed as per the Mumbai University guidelines.
Other: Cresendo is the technical event in which paper presentation and project presentation competitions are held. For Agnel Memorial Technical Debate and Euphoria cultural event are also carried out through the year.

This is a strict college, and come if you are willing to spend four years doing assignments.
Placements: The placements are not that great it was because the market was down, and the companies didn't work well. Anyway, I do get placed due to the tough competition, so don't lose faith. Work hard and find out what the company wants. Maybe you can get a shot as I did. They give you training and all, so you do get the resources for preparation. Just that you need to work on your resume and speaking skills. For that, they conduct GDs and mock interviews so that it gives you a clear idea of how the real ones will be.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average but not that great. They do provide the necessities. But again, not always. However, they don't encourage you to participate as it needs to come from within. Trust me, if you do, you'll grow a lot, and communicating with people can boost your speaking skills, so make sure you work on that. In short, whatever platform they give, give your best shot.
Faculty: The faculty members encourage the students in all aspects. At times, they trouble you with loads of work. In the end, the effort counts do participate in the activities. It can boost your confidence level of performance. They have improved quite a bit in their syllabus by adding hit topics like Python, which is currently necessary. So, there's a hope.

Everything about the college is good.
Placements: Students of this college don't need to worry a bit about placements. More than 20 companies come here, and all are huge. The placement percentage is above 95% every year. TCS, Accenture are the mass recruiters. The average package is about 4-5 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the college. The library is accessible to everyone. Medical facilities are available. Sports is the main thing for this college. The labs are well-furnished with more than 25 PCs in each lab. The canteen is quite cool, and hostel rooms are fantastic.
Faculty: The teachers over here are well-qualified and very experienced that they can match the level of IIT faculty members. Even the principal over here take classes, so it's nothing like only teachers are going to teach as the principal also involve and it's the best thing for the students.
Other: Being located at Bandra, it has the best view of the college. You can see the bus stand from every window. It feels refreshing. 5 days cultural and 3 days technical events are organised. The crowd are mannered.
