The journey of my college.
Placements: Almost 95 percent students got placed in my college and companies like Tata, Wipro, Microsoft, Google etc. visit our college for placements every year. Average package of my college is around 8 Lacs per annum. The college also help the students in getting internships from different companies.
Infrastructure: Though the infrastructure of my college is a little old, but they are renovating the entire college into a new one. There are two hostels in our campus, one for boys and the other for girls. There is a large playground in our college where we can play any sport.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well educated and they all have a good experience in teaching. The faculty members are very supportive and they know how to teach the students of our age. All the courses provided in our college are relevant and they provide a quality education to the students. Semester exams are not much difficult if we study. The passing marks is around 40 percent.
Other: I chose B.Tech in Civil Engineering because I want to be a civil engineer and after searching the best of colleges, my search for a good college came to an end here. The college organizes a fest named Galgotias fest every year in which the students can participate in dancing, singing, etc.

It is an economical college with good environment, faculty members, and placements.
Placements: Hardly 40-50% of students got placed the previous time as many rejected the placements as they decided to pursue higher studies in this course. Few students also prepare for exams like GATE. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA and the average salary package offered was nearly 4 LPA. Top recruiters are L&T, Infosys, and TCS. A lot of opportunities for internships are provided. Internships are offered from the 3rd year. The top role offered is junior engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. Everything is well maintained in this college. Wi-Fi works well. Classrooms are not air-conditioned but still, they are good. The library is open to all students. Laboratories are well maintained, and the equipment works properly. The hostel is not good, but it is very costly. It does not provide many facilities. The food served is very bad. Hostel facilities are not good. The food quality is average. Medical facility is average. Ambulance is always available for emergency purposes. A playground is available for different sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are outstanding. They are helpful. They also provide doubt-clearing sessions to weak students. There are the best teachers in civil engineering course. The course curriculum is more theoretical than practical, so it does not make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. Marking is typical. The pass percentage is 33% but it is suggested to get at least 50% of marks.
Other: I chose this course to appear in the GATE examination. Our college should provide more practical knowledge. Fests are not organised often, but once a month or two. Sports competitions are conducted in this college.

Overall, the college is decent, and campus life is very good. You will enjoy living here.
Placements: Placements for my branch are below average, and only a few will get placed in core companies. Last year, many of my seniors got placed in sales companies, and only 2 or 3 got placed in core companies. Many seniors get placed off-campus easily in core companies. The college's placement cell is combined with the university placement cell.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are average, and the hostel is good, but mess food is below average. All classes have AC installed and working properly. All classes are equipped with smart boards. In the hostel for boys, you have 2-seater AC and non-AC, 3-seater AC and non-AC, and 4-seater AC and non-AC rooms. For girls, there are only 3-seater and 4-seater rooms.
Faculty: Core faculty are well-educated, and there are 3 internal exams a year. Faculty will scare you that you will be detained if your attendance is below 75%, but that's not totally true. Don't mess with teachers. Keep your lab files and assignments up-to-date if you wish to score internal marks, and perform at least average in internal exams.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest. The campus life of this college is very good. One of the best fests happens here, and clubs are proactive.

Course Curriculum Structuring for MBA/PGDM at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology

The course curriculum at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) for MBA/PGDM has been structured to provide students with a solid foundation in business administration. Here's what we've gathered from the students' and alumni's reviews:

* Relevant Coursework: The course curriculum is considered relevant to the industry, providing students with a sound understanding of business principles and practices.
* Lack of Practical Knowledge: However, several students felt that the course lacked practical knowledge, making it essential for students to supplement their theoretical learning with self-study or extracurricular activities.
