Government College of Engineering and Technology. One of the best.
Placements: My class, 3rd sem mechanical, has 26 students, and 1st sem has 46 students. The highest package is 10 Lacs from campus. Off-campus, it can go to 20 Lacs in Andhra Pradesh. Top companies are TCS, Volvo, and many more. Very few are placed, 40% only. The only one who can sit in the placement room if he/she has no back or supply in subjects.
Infrastructure: The college has all the facilities over labs with well-trained teachers and faculty. The college has a hostel and math facility for boys; the boys' hostel is running and has many rooms, but the girls' hostel is under construction. The college has a big playground and stadium too. The college has a wide campus full of trees and greenery.
Faculty: Our college has well-trained professors and teachers, both permanent and temporary. The professors are mainly qualified from IITs and NITs. Our college makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams were very tough, and the person who got their 40 percent passed in each subject.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has separate labs for all experiments. Our library is filled with many books. The hostel facility is average. The food served in the mess is very good.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, very well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Exams are not much difficult if you prepare well. The passing marks are 40% in each subject.

Excellent faculty and good placements.
Placements: Very renowned companies like TCS, Infosys and others visit colleges for placement. Approx package is given by them us between 4 lakhs to 6 lakhs per annum. Job profile may vary from data entry to software development in the case of computer science engineering.
Infrastructure: Wifi is available for students but the usage limit is only 34 MB per day. A well-maintained library is available. A canteen is also available on the college campus. The quality of food served in mess is average. Classrooms are well maintained and are equipped with smart boards.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly. Teaching quality is excellent. End semester exams are quite tough. About 60% of students pass with no backlog in end semester exams. No revaluation is available for end sem exams of any branch and semester and backlog exams are conducted after 1 year.

I am not satisfied with our college overall.
Placements: The placements at this college are not satisfactory. The percentage of students who get placements is very low. I think for students who get placements, the salary package offered is below 5 LPA. Very few firms visit here. Wipro used to visit the college.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel for boys only at present. For girls, recently, they built a hostel, but it's not functional yet. The boys' hostel is at par excellence. The facilities at this college are not satisfactory. There is a library, but it is not well-equipped. Wi-Fi is available here.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful here. Their teaching quality is average. I couldn't learn from the teaching faculty members available here. The curriculum may make students industry-ready. It's easy to pass semester exams. Pass marks are 40 out of 100.
