Placements: Placements are pretty good at IIEST, Shibpur. The placement percentage of our mechanical department is about 75-80%. Top recruiting companies like Vedanta Cairn Oil & Gas, PWC, Tata Steel, Capgemini, TCS, Maruti Suzuki, ZS Associate, Bajaj Auto Limited, HSVC India and many more companies visit the department every year for placements. Placements: If I talk strictly about core companies, then as of official placement records of 2021-22, several core companies visited our campus for on-campus placement. Some of them are - Tata Steel, Mentor Graphics, Publicize sapient, Hyundai, Aditya Birla group, etc.

Placements: About 94% of students were placed in the previous batch. The highest package was 60 LPA. The lowest package was 6 LPA and the average package is 24 LPA. The top companies like Microsoft, and Amazon were the recruiting companies. About 70% of students got internships in many companies. 2 of them are from Microsoft 1 is from Google.

Placements: Mostly everyone got placed during our campus placements. Students also try for better offers in non-core whilst sitting in off-campus placements. Placements in core don't get you a hefty package. But that's not about ITS, it's about everywhere. Even in IITs, you don't get paid enough in non-core. Civil Engineering companies like L and T, Bentley, etc. show interest to recruit us.

Placements: About 99% of students were placed in the department of information and technology. The highest CTC offered was 4-4.2 LPA. The average CTC is 18 LPA. Top recruits were Deutsche Bank, De Shaw, Samsung, Microsoft, Accenture, and Adobe Acrobat. Almost all students get internships in their third year at Microsoft and Deutsche Bank. The top roles offered are Software developer, software engineer, and product manager.

Placements: Hi, I am a student of electrical engineering at IIEST Shibpur. Every year almost all the students who graduate from here get jobs or go for higher studies. The average package for electrical engineering in 2021 was an average of 8 LPA in its companies. The core jobs are but there is no lack of opportunities.

Placements: The placements at IIEST, Shibpur are decent for the department of electronics and telecommunication engineering course. This year, nearly 90% of the batch students who sat for placements got placed with an average salary package of around 10 LPA. The highest salary package is around 30 LPA given by Texas Instruments.

Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Mostly, all students will get internships in the IT sector.

Placements: Most students are placed and many went for higher studies. Top companies are TCS, Microsoft, Deloitte, IBM Wipro, etc. About 60%-70% of students get placed and the rest goes for higher studies. Most of the students get an internship in their second and third years in companies like Microsoft both off-campus and on campus.

Placements: Placements are too good, this year the highest package in department of Mechanical engineering is 47lakh. In our department 65 are eligible and all got the placement. Average package is 10-20 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, tata steel, amazon india, texas instrument etc.

Ltd., WSP, Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd., HSBC India (GET), ITD Cementation, Tata Power Ltd., P W C (Technology Consultant), MindTree, Capgemini (T 203), etc. Comes during placements for recruiting into various roles like core engineering, consulting, tech, finance, etc.

Placements: Many students have been selected for mentorship and internship programs. The highest salary package this year off-campus was at Amazon with 1 crore per annum and the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA. Around 40% of students get internships by the end of 3rd year.

Placements: Placements are amazing this year. In information technology, in a batch strength of 75, 110 offers were given with a maximum salary package of 45 LPA. The average was 15 LPA to 16 LPA and the median was 12 LPA. Placements have been really good here for the past 2 to 3 years. It seems to be improving further in the coming years.

Placements: The placements season is very good. Many students were placed in Microsoft and many went in off-campus. The highest paying recruiter is Atlassian which offers a salary package of 51.2 LPA. The average salary package for the electrical engineering course is 12 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 28 LPA by Texas Instruments.

Placements: In the field of placements of IIEST Shibpur performs decent. It is rare to see placements above 1 crore but number of students cracking excellent placements above 30-40 LPA. This year IT and CS department get the highest salary package of 45 LPA by Microsoft. Both the departments showed excellent placements statistics this year. Total number of offers for UG are 635 whereas interested candidates are 533, this shows high chances of being placed through college this year.
