I am satisfied because of excellent infrastructure and scope of research work.

Placements: Placements in this course are not that good. Only Vikram Solar visit here every year, and they also don't hire students from this branch on a regular basis. Other companies do not provide suitable jobs for this course. In our batch, students were not selected from campusing. However, with the effort of our renowned faculty members, some students got a chance to do an internship, and from it, some of them were placed. The salary package offered was around 3.25 LPA.

I am highly satisfied with the course curriculum, facilities and good placements of my college.

Placements: My college is one of the most sought-after engineering colleges in West Bengal because of its nice conversion ratio and big recruiters like Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki, Vedanta, Texas Instruments, Google, etc. In my batch of 2018, 70% of the students were placed in mechanical engineering with packages ranging from 4 to 11 LPA and the average being around 7 LPA. A plethora of companies visited the campus for placements varying from non-core recruiters like ZS Associates, PWC, Deloitte, Accenture, ...

Review of Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology.

Placements: After completion of 5th year, almost everyone gets a job but not with a decent salary package. It is quite frustrating that after 5 years of hassle you are getting a salary of Rs. 15,000 per month. But, it has nothing to do with college. All over India, the condition of B.Arch graduate students is the same. Many students proved themselves and achieved their dreams. One needs to be passionate with good software skills and a decent portfolio to stand out from others. Because there are more than 40...

Placements: Placement scenario has seen a massive improvement this year. Almost all the students who registered for placements got placed from my department. Multiple students were placed at each of the big names like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, Direct, etc. Companies like Deustche Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Barclays Bank, PwC, etc. Have recruited students as well. Placements: Placement scenario in our college is good. The best batch was of 2004 where our college achieved almost 100% placements. In 2017, the college achieved 75% placement. I would say that it is the best suited to join MBA in IIEST from B.Tech or B.Sc. background. Non B.Tech or Non BScs remain a bit singled out. But still, since it falls under INI status, the management is trying hard to improve placements scenario. It firmly believes that it will improve in future and is in a rising state. Overall, I...

Placements: Placements in our college are good enough. Students get placements, but not every student can get the top placement opportunity. A maximum number of students get placed every year. But students get the highest salary package through off-campus drives rather than on-campus drives which is the greatest achievement for IIEST students.

There are 100% placements in civil in the past 5 years. I also got placed in TCS (an IT company) and Infosys.
