For admission to the M.Tech programme at IIT Bhilai, candidates must meet the eligibility constituted by the institute. Below are the eligibility criteria for admission to the M.Tech programmes at IIT Bhilai:

IIT Bhilai offers a two-year M.Tech course across six specialisations. These are Computer Science & Engineering, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Vehicle Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics. Admission to all the M.Tech courses is through GATE followed by COAP counselling.

For admission to IIT Bhilai MTech course, students are admitted through a valid GATE score. As per the selection process, candidates must pass graduation with BTech from a recognised board. To apply for M.Tech course at IIT Bhilai, students need to pay the application fee for GATE.
