The answer is both yes and no. Candidates seeking admission to BTech at IIT Gandhinagar are expected to qualify both JEE Main and JEE Advanced and further go through JoSAA counselling to secure admission. However, getting final admission only on the basis of JEE Main score, is not possible. Additionally, to be eligible for the BTech programme, candidates must have passed their Class 12 with 75% aggregate. IIT Gandhinagar admission process is entirely based on the selection of candidates via popular entrance exams such as JEE Advanced and GATE, etc., for courses such as BTech and MTech, respectively. The modes of IIT Gandhinagar admissions are online and offline. Admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores.
