Amazing peers and faculty, Great Placement cell.

Placements: CSE department in IIT Guwahati boasts the best placement rate in the campus. 90% of my batch and also the senior batch were placed in large tech industries with an average salary of 14 Lacs per annum. The Placement Cell at IITG is really helpful and they provide personal help such as reviewing resumes, connecting to alumni and also the placement week in the month of December helps in connecting to lots of companies.

One of the best institutes in India regarding teaching and research. It is a green campus.

Placements: Every year, during November and December, several multinational companies like Mercedes Benz, Google, Apple, etc., including a lot of national companies visit our campus and recruit UG, PG, and PhD students. I was a student of mechanical engineering, and when we were in the first year, about 90% of our seniors got recruited in companies like L&T, GM, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and several other companies during campus placements.

It is one of the most beautiful campuses in the world.

Placements: Placements for CSE, M&C, and ECE branches are very good. Placements for civil and biotechnology are not up to the mark. Placements for chemical engineering are very good in number. Almost all the students get placed in good companies like Jindal, Fierryetc etc. For the students of core branches, machine learning and artificial intelligence jobs are offered. Our college is a place to learn, to grow and to enjoy. It provides everything which a student needs.

Placements: I have not yet seated for placement, but most of our seniors got placed during the first week of the placements. All core and non-core companies visited our college. The highest salary package offered maybe 36 LPA. GS recruited most of the students for an internship this year. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Google and Microsoft, visited for the internship for the student. I am not aware of the offers given to students.

Placements: The placements on the campus are amazing with students working tirelessly for days and months. When it comes to the number, 85% of the students got placed in our senior year, and we in the 3rd year have seen the internship season. About 50% of the batch got internship opportunity out of which about 20% would be getting PPO, and almost all of them would be accepted eventually. Review of IIT Guwahati - a place with great peers, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: All the eligible students from my batch (of 2016) found a job within the 1st week of placement season. In fact, there were companies who couldn't fill all their openings due to their not being enough eligible students. The salaries offered were in the range of 10 - 20 LPA with most companies offering bonus and other benefits on top of the base salary. IITG has an excellent placement record, with a dedicated placement cell which consists of a central group of students in addition to representativ...

A review on Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Assam.

Placements: Around 100% placements are provided with good packages in certain branches like CSE, M&C, EC and others. The packages for core branches are not much good compared to the CSE, M&C and EC, but even then, the average package is not much poor. In branches like engineering physics, biotechnology, chemical science and technology, the placements are very less, so generally, the students go for the coding course and join coding companies.
