Placements: Placement in DOD is on par with other departments in the institute, more than 90% of students get placed and the average salary is around 9 lac. Some of the companies recruited from our department are Samsung, Oracle, Flipkart, TCS, Accenture and nearly 100% of students get internships in good companies. Placements: Almost 90% of the student from the chemical department who attended for placements get placed. The highest salary package offered ranges from 45 LPA to 50 LPA. Placements: Almost 70% of students from my batch of electronics and electrical engineering got placed. Top recruiters are Samsung, Citi, Abzooba, Society General ISRO, etc. The package offered was 12-24 LPA, and the average package was 15 LPA. Roles offered were sd, core electrical and scientist for ISRO.

Placements: About 10 - 20% of students were placed last year. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies were from pharmaceutical. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 9 LPA. About 40 - 50% of students got an internship in pharma.

Placements: We have a placement cell in our campus called the CCD (centre for career development) which takes care of the placement and internship works. EEE have a quite good placement of 83% in the year 2017 with average 13 LPA salary. Companies like Texas instrument, Nvidia, BHEL and many more visits the campus for recruitment.

Placements: IITG provides a good education and learning environment. A number of companies visit the campus for the recruitment process, which was invited by the dedicated placement cell. Majority of these companies were from the software industry. Students were also committed to placements.

Placements: Almost 90-95% of the students get placed from all departments. Attractive salary packages are offered for mechanical and computer science engineering students. Reputed private companies and PSUs also recruit from almost all the branches. The placement record is not much good for the Master students except computer science and mechanical engineering departments.

Placements: The placement percentage of our batch was less than the senior batch. Around 60% of the students who participated in placements, got placed. The highest salary package offered was 1 crore per annum. Three students got the highest salary package, one from computer science department and the other two are from the design department.

Placements: There is a placement cell which is very efficient and helpful. They have conducted various sessions and brought up the competitive spirit in students. I don't remember the exact percentages, but the placement numbers were pretty good with decent average salary packages. The highest being something around 80 LPA for US-based profile and the lowest being 4 LPA.

Placements: CSE department in IIT Guwahati boasts the best placement rate in the campus. 90% of my batch and also the senior batch were placed in large tech industries with an average salary of 14 Lacs per annum. The Placement Cell at IITG is really helpful and they provide personal help such as reviewing resumes, connecting to alumni and also the placement week in the month of December helps in connecting to lots of companies.
