This is the beautiful IIT among all other IITs. Climate is awesome. Placements in 2018 was good.

Placements: I'm doing Masters in Structural Engineering. This year placements for our branch was very good. Almost many of our friends were placed, even I also. Out of 21 Students 14 were placed and some of my friends who are not included in 14 got some government jobs. Companies which are visited are L&T ECC, Spectrum, KEC International, KIIT college, ARKITECHNO Consultants etc. , the highest package was 7.5LPA and least was 4.8LPA. Placement cell is there and it is very useful.

IIT Guwahati is where studies and recreation goes hand in hand.

Placements: Being a research-oriented branch, the placements are a bit low for CST. This year, it has been 71.8% with the maximum package of 27 lpa. Several students got selected for MS programs in foreign universities through GRE. Overall, the maximum students got placed in software, analytics companies ranging from Oracle to Wipro.

Every about the campus is the best the placements are good, faculty is best what not everything.

Placements: The placements are very good. About 90 percent of the students get placed each time and the average package is about 12 Lacs. For CSE it is as high as 19 Lacs whereas for MNC it is about 17 Lacs and ECE about 16 Lacs. So IIT Guwahati is one of the best colleges in India in terms of education and placements.

IITG, a place perfectly balanced with studies, extra curricular activities, and many more.

Placements: The mechanical M.Tech placements are pretty good. Around 60-70% of the students already placed while many more placements still left in session 2017-2018. The average is 8-10 lacs per annum for the mechanical M.Tech students. The companies which are visiting are Mercedes, Bosch, Mahindra, Tata, Cumins, and more. Other colleges are also recruiting for the teaching posts. No government company so far in my knowledge.

My IIT, Guwahati is a great campus to study, enjoy, develop and integrate.

Placements: The placements are absolutely great. The placement season starts in December, and all the top MNCs would be approaching with a huge package (minimum of 10 LPA) to get the absolute perfect guy, but everyone at IIT is great. The placement sessions are well structured.

Placements: The placements so far, have been very good for the seniors with a minimum of Rs. 10 lakhs per annum and sometimes a maximum of Rs. 80 lakhs per annum offered by companies like Facebook, Google, Oracle, Infosys and many more. Absolutely satisfied with everything we had.

Placements: Placements were good in the year 2015. Almost everyone who opts for the placements and whose CPI is more than 6 get placed. But for our department I.e physics didn't get the core companies, so everybody is satisfied with IT jobs and machine learning jobs.

Coolest college of India. If you stay there once, you would like to stay there for life time.

Placements: Placement in private firm is quite good, but nowadays PSU company is not coming to college. But the private firms like, Google, Microsoft and other companies give good packages. Every year, the average salary offered to the students is 7 LPA to 8 LPA. The faculty also use their contacts to call the companies, and they created a placement cell for better placement. Senior students who were already passed also help very much. The placements are average. In every ten people, 6 got placed.

Placements: Several companies come to offer jobs but due to high competition, the chances of a getting handsome salary are moderate. You have to be best amongst all the candidates in your branch and should maintain a good CPI for sure as every company first sees your CPI and then the rest of your resume. The average salary in chemical science and technology is 10-11 lakhs per year and the highest may go up to 20-21 lakhs depending on the companies coming for placements. ...

Placements: The highest domestic package was 30 LPA, the minimum package was 5.5 LPA, and the average was approximately 9PLA for my batch. It was almost similar for my senior batch. Enjoy your life. It's a most beautiful campus.

Placements: One of the best. Students who bunked the classes and were not serious were the only ones unable to get a placement. Those who were serious about academics or placements got a good placement. Keep your CPI above 7 and placement will be 100% guaranteed. For those with CPI between 6 to 7, there are 50-70% chances and below 6, it depends on the luck. The student at the top had more options than needed.
