Placements: Around 82% of students get placed in companies of which 85% are selected for SWE role. Most of the students learn coding from 3rd year and get placed with a very decent salary package. Around 15% of students explore in finance and consultancy companies.

IIT GUWAHATI has a very beautiful campus.

Placements: I think 73 percentage. The highest package is 2.1 crore, received by an M.Tech student. The lowest package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, thermal power plant, etc. Almost every student gets internship in tech portion also like in google, Microsoft, etc.

Placements: Placements in BSBE are good. Almost 85% of students are placed, and the remaining opt for higher studies or other exams. The average salary package offered is 16.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and Goldman Sachs. Many job profiles are different like IT or software, finance, and analyst. Overall, placements are good at IIT Guwahati.

This college is a heaven with knowledgeable people.

Placements: In our course, around 60% of the batch get placements. The highest placement in our batch is around 27 LPA in the software domain. The average placement is 16.5 LPA and the lowest placement is 5 to 6 LPA. One can have his/her life with an amazing beautiful campus to look around.

Placements: Around 97% of students got placed. All major companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart, Goldman Sacs, etc., were open for our branch. There were mostly software and electrical engineer posts for our course. Data science and AI positions were also offered. The highest salary package offered was 64 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was around 8 LPA - 9 LPA. Almost 80% of students got internships.

It has good faculty members and good infrastructure.

Placements: About 20% of students were placed in M.Sc. chemistry. The lowest salary package is 6 LPA and the highest is 20 LPA. Coaching centers like Aakash and Byjus come for placements, and students also participate in general placements if they know about coding. About 40% to 50% of students go abroad for their Ph.D.

Placements: The placement cell is good at IIT Guwahati. All department students get the opportunity to sit in an interview for placements. It gives experience for the future. Top companies, like Microsoft, Tata, Reliance, etc., are supposed to come. The interviews are good.

IIT Guwahati is phenomenal college.

Placements: About 30% to 35% of our senior batch were placed. The maximum salary package was 50 LPA in the US, and the minimum was around 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Core students get a lower package through chemistry. They generally get placed in some coaching institutes like Allen, Resonance, Akash, Byjus, and in some good pharmaceutical industries. It has good faculty and placements, but the food is not good.

Placements: The placements here are very good. The highest package here is around 2.1 crores internationally and 1.5 crores domestically. It is a good institute to enjoy life along with learning.

Placements: Placements from M.Sc. are not very good. It's not like the institute fails to give placements. It's more because the students want to go for higher education and apply for other jobs. Almost everyone who applied for a summer internship gets an internship.

It has the most beautiful campus in India.

Placements: Around 87% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is around 24 LPA and increasing on a yearly basis. The highest salary package offered ranges from 60 LPA - 70 LPA. It is an awesome college for placements and also enjoyment.

Placements: Currently, I am in my first year, so I do not have data regarding placements of my course, but 99% of our seniors are placed. Last year, the highest package of our college was 2.06 crores per annum. This branch is available only in two top IITs (IIT K has B.Sc.). All the top companies are open to students.
