Infrastructure: As we know, IIT Guwahati is holding the 7th position in India so it has many facilities. It is the biggest university in the northeast. It has very good sports facilities and good Wi-Fi. There is a scope for every game in the college. Overall the facilities are good.

Placements: Our batch has 20 students as it is a new branch and started this year only by Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. There aren't any placement statistics, especially in our branch. However, as per general placement reports shown to us in the orientation, the average salary package offered was 30 LPA for CSE and 29 LPA for MNC branches. Placements: You will be eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards. Many reputed giants visit IIT Guwahati for placements. The placement stats can be seen on the official website of IIT Guwahati. The percentage of students who get placed will generally range from 100% in CSE to 65% in EP. Placements: Great placement team. Records are set every year & packages get exceptional every year. Even this year around an exception package of 2Cr was taken by a student. From the very beginning of you strive towards building your skills & be good in academics. A great package is in your palm.

Placements: In our course, around 40% of students are placed in different sectors mostly in software. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA from Uber. The average salary package offered ranges from 7 LPA - 8 LPA. But there are not many offers, and companies like Bajaj, Mercedes Benz, Boeing Tata Steel, etc., came for the core profiles. The top roles are coding profiles and the banking sector.

Placements: This year, about 80% of students got placed in B.Tech and B.Des courses. The highest salary package offered is 70 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 21.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs visit our college for placements. SDE is the top role offered to the students. Internship opportunities are good.

Placements: The placement percentage of mechanical engineering is 82%. The rest of the students either choose higher studies (M.Tech, MS) or prepare for competitive examinations. Most of the students get placed in tech or software companies, and some students (nearly 20-25) get placed in core companies. Some core companies like Bajaj, L&T or some PSUs visit the campus. The average salary package offered in mechanical is nearly 18 LPA as of 2020. Some students or around 20-30 students also got internships.

Placements: About 76% of students from B.Tech and B.Des were placed in the year 2021 with the highest salary package of 70 LPA and an average salary package of 21.42 LPA. Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr, Adobe and Amazon were some of the top recruiters here. Internship opportunities are also good. Top roles offered here are SDE and data analyst. Most of the software companies allow EEE and ECE students to attend placements in their companies.

Placements: At least 80% of the students are placed in EEE with a median package of 21 lpa. For core EEE, companies like Texas Instruments, Intel, Qualcomm, Nvidia and more such companies come. For SDE, all the major companies like Microsoft, Google, UBER, Oracle, Flipkart, JP Morgan, Cisco, Amazon and such come. Around 70% got internships in the same companies mentioned above.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placements is pretty good. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies like Dalmia, Gammon, etc., visit our college for placements. Our college also offers good roles. Rest there are no such issues with the placement cell.

Internship opportunities are also good and mostly software-oriented. The top internship providers are the same as mentioned above.

Placements: More than 80% of registered students were placed in our department this year. The highest package offered was around 40 LPA, while the average package 16 LPA, and the lowest package was around 12 LPA. There were companies like Walmart, Goldman Sachs, Texas Instruments, Accenture, etc., in which the students got placed for SDE, data analyst, and finance roles. The internship percentage is quite low, around 20-25%, through internship drives conducted at IIT Guwahati.

Placements: 64% of students got placed with an average salary package of 17 LPA. Pre-covid, the placement percentages were 83% and 90%. Mostly, the roles offered were SDE and data analyst profiles. A few students were placed in miscellaneous roles like management, product management, growth engineer etc. Students got industrial internships mainly with SDE and data analysis profiles. Academic internships were also provided in various national and foreign universities.

Placements: 100% placement in CSE. The highest package is over 1 crore and the lowest is nearly 10LPA. Average package is nearly 28-30LPA. Google, DEShaw, Quadeye, Microsoft, Amazon, Sprinklr, Tower, Codenation, and many top companies with 30+ LPA visits our campus for hiring. 60-70% students gets internship in tier 3rd year. SDE and Data Science are two major roles offered by companies in our college for CSE students.

Placements: Out of 42 students, at least, 32 were placed. The rest either found placement opportunities on campus or are pursuing further studies.
